Love is
Who: Garnet, Pride members, OPEN
What: Garnet is trying to write a song based on her memory regain. It works as well as you'd expect.
When: The week after the party
Where: The Cosmic Indulgence penthouse/Pride studios (Pride members only), out and about in the city (OPEN)
Warnings: An annoyed keytar mom
Pride Penthouse/Tower
[She had an idea. Even if it made no sense and filled her with worry and confusion and fear. The feelings she'd felt - continued to feel - about the visions she had of those two people she kept seeing in her mind, her thoughts, her dreams...it would make a great single. Maybe even the greatest song she ever wrote. It could be a dancing song. She could feel it in her bones that it is the right thing to do, to write about what she had experienced.
Yet when she tries? Nothing comes out. Nothing can be put on paper. As the week goes by, the wastebaskets all over become more noticeably full with crumpled paper and pens having run out of ink. And coffee cups. Lots and lots of coffee cups. Garnet, meanwhile, becomes more and more grumpy as the week progresses. And what to show for it?
Its frustrating. Its as if what she's thinking is...indecipherable for song. Inconceivable. Unacceptable. Music is what she does, so why can't she do this?]
Out and About
[She needs some air. So she goes to get some. Maybe she's walking around the town, maybe she's sitting at a cafe, or on a park bench with a notepad. But she's around, and on occasion there's a paparazzi trying to sneak and get a picture of her. She definitely seems intense. Moreso than usual.
Probably a good reason to go bother her, right?]

Out and About
He finds Garnet at the park, he gives her a genuine smile]
Mind if I sit? I've been on my feet all day.

Nevertheless, she gestures to an empty spot on her bench.]
Its a free country.
no subject
[He sat down with an large sigh and set his messenger bag at his feet. After a few moments of being quiet he looked over his shoulder, sighed again at the photographers and looked back over at Garnet?]
They bothering you?
no subject
[IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA RIGHT NOW, UNFORTUNATELY.]
You?
no subject
[he sighs]
Couldn't escape them, so I just got used to it. Best thing to do is pretend it's normal. Fake it until you make it.
no subject
[Frown.]
A couple of them have been asking about the party. Outside of our bosses, I don't see why I'm relevant to the conversation.

[the that being the fifteen minutes that their labels' CEOs disappeared and came back. And the wine throwing. He's been asked what he thought about that, amongst other things, but he wisely kept his mouth shut.]
Well, it's kinda big. Before last night Blanche hadn't been seen for months. And there was a little disaster. Of course they're thirsty for it.
no subject
[And she means it. Seriously. The only way it affects them is if it affects their music!]
Its like the paps think we're on intimate terms with them.
no subject
It's the stuff that sells their magazines, makes people read their blogs, or whatever.
no subject
[Bracing on the bench tightly.]
We're not here to spread gossip. We're here to make music.
no subject
[He scoots away a bit. He's afraid that she'll break the bench.]
But yeah, to us it's pointless, to them, it's their job. Just roll with it and ignore it.
no subject
They keep asking me about that--Tiger.
[Almost said 'brat', but paps could be anyhwere.]
I have to wonder how many times I have to say 'no comment' before they back off on it.
no subject
It takes a bit. They'll milk for all it's worth unless they find something else. Then they'll revisit it six months later just to stir the pot.
[He sighs in the direction of the pap raising his camera] Speaking of which, smile, you're about to have your picture taken.
no subject
[HEY PAPS, HAVE A COMPLETELY FAKE SMILE
and maybe some bunny ears on Ryouta]no subject
What a great picture]

Success]

[he gave Garnet a grin and held up his fist for a bump]
That's how you deal with the press.
no subject
[Fist is Bumped!]

[From fist bump to handshake?]

Nice to officially meet you. I saw you at the awards gala but didn't get a chance to say hello then.
no subject
[The slightest stiffening in her body, at the mention of the gala.]
Yes, that was rather...a busy affair.
no subject
[He shook his head]
I made a lot of new friends there. It was a lot of fun. I mean, some people weren't very nice, but, not everyone is going to be right?
[Says the boy who cried in the bathroom]
no subject
[She relaxes a little, once she focuses on that.]
But we'll prove ourselves. Our music will speak for itself. We just have to give it time.
no subject
It'll be great!
