Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
Who: Usagi Tsukino and OPEN
Where: All over Vista
What: It's a rainy week and Usagi is missing home
When: All week
Warnings: None I can think of
A: Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
It was raining. It was a surprise shower and the clouds looked like they would be there all week. But surprise or not, it was April, so Usagi always carried her umbrella on her during the month. She let out a sigh as she was walking home, her umbrella over her head. It was a brand new umbrella and it was covered in little rabbits and cats. It was so adorable how could she not purchase it? Besides, it allowed her to have more than one person under it too.
Which seemed to be a good thing, at the moment. As she walking back to her newer home, she saw someone under an awning, clearly stuck and without their own umbrella. She checked her watch. Well, she still had time before anyone else would be home. She headed over to them and offered a smile.
"If you need, I don't mind walking you to the bus stop or to get a cab or something?" She'd even walk them home if they really needed.
B: What Can Compare With Your Beautiful Sound?
Maybe this was a bad idea.
Usagi frowned as she flipped through the song-requests book. It was karaoke night at Brad's Diner and she had come to support the new idea but she had absolutely no confidence in singing. She also had absolutely no idea what half these songs were.
"Uuuugh there's so maaaany," she sighed as she kept glancing. "And half of these are duets," she mumbled. "At this rate I'm not going to be singing until it's over."
C: Drip Drip Drop When the Sky is Cloudy
Why? Why did this ALWAYS happen to her? She groaned and her shoulders visibly slumped forward as she held the umbrella over her head. She knew this was the address, she had the flowers to deliver in her arms, but the security guard was staunchly blocking her path.
"Oh come ooooon," she groaned, showing him the invoice. "It says right here, that I have a delivery for the band from the building manager! I just need to get in, drop it off, and then I'll be on my way!" she whined, growing more frustrated as this was now the third time she showed him the paper work and he had "called to the building manager" to see if they were actually going to let her in.
"I could have been gone by now! I'm not even staying to watch the band I just need to deliver these bouquets!" she stomped her foot, trying to leave before the band even arrived. "Don't you have anything better to do than stop me from delivering bought and paid for flowers!"
D: Your Pretty Music Can Brighten the Day
"EEEEEE!" the sun had made an appearance, finally! She loved rain, certainly, but she was like a sunflower, drawn to the light. Usagi was practically glowing as she spread out her arms and just spun around, letting all the warmth touch her skin as she walked through the park.
"Aaaah," she took a deep breath. The sun was warm but the grass and pavement was wet, the air still heavy but a rainbow bright in the sky. Her eyes were closed in content.
Which was perhaps her mistake as she took another slight spin... and her hand promptly smacked someone.
Her eyes snapped open.
"AAAAAH ARE YOU OKAY!?!" Goodbye good mood, hello panic.

Meril recognized the girl from the charity concert and remembered her, as well as her place of work. So the keyboardist offered her a slight smile as she stepped forward, then turned slightly more fully to make sure her bodyguards had not gotten lost. Maybe they might be of help for once.

Some of the bouquets had Meril's name on the card.
"I can't let her in just because she has a piece of paper, it's a safety issue for you and the band. We don't let any deliveries in without the building manager's say so."
"BUT IT WAS THE BUILDING MANAGER- UUGH! We've been over this!"

Meril almost never made threats, but in this case -- with a power-hungry stooge eager to pick on a poor girl out of bureaucratic cruelty -- she didn't particularly feel she was doing wrong.

"If you're fine with it, so be it," he grumbled, stepping to the side and opening the door for both women since he couldn't pull the same power trip on Meril.
Usagi had to struggle to get the umbrella closed with all of the bouquets in her arms but she wasn't going to ask for help from him. She managed, though and let out a sigh of relief as she got herself and all seven bouquets inside.
"Thank you thank you thank you! This is so wonderful, I was out there for 20 minutes before you came along."

In truth, Usagi knew exactly why, both Angel and An had been kidnapped from venues and the robots had been killed, she could only imagine what the labels were telling the concert halls.
"Ah but, I'm sorry to hear that! My friend was nearby there when that happened, everyone's okay right? Like, no one is hurt?"

"And uuuuh, one sec." She shifted her arms. "Okay, two for you, four for Greg Universe, one for Rarity aaaaand," she jostled the flowers one more time. "Two overall for the band."
no subject
"Only one for Rarity?" And none for the others? Well, what a shame. "Any for other musicians?"
no subject
"I uh... yeah, sorry," she only helped make and deliver the bouquets, she couldn't control who got how many. "But the others at Thistle are delivering to the other label and are going to come back for me. Some days there are more for Pride, some days there are more for Virgo, it all depends... sorry."

An amusing thought occurred to her. "I do not know how your schedule is, but if you would care to come into the penthouse...?"
no subject
At the mention of the penthouse her eyes widened and she tripped over nothing, but managed to stay upright.
"W-What! A-Are you sure? I-I mean..."

"And oh, I don't believe have the tabloid stuff anyways, they keep claiming stupid things, like Rei Hino is a succubus or Garnet is a leader of a gang. I make my own decisions on people once I meet them."

"Still, all the more reason to not believe any of it and just make my own opinions upon meeting people!"

"I'm not sure I agree with that," she offered gently. "I mean... people have a right to... well, write, but they shouldn't be permitted to tell lies. There's enough of that in the world."
no subject
"Where do you draw the line between a lie and a falsehood you believe is true?"
