What: Flowers Over Bones leave Virgo and get help escaping from the Sailor Senshi

Sans was determined to run and bring someone with him. Luce didn't waste a moment starting to pack when he told her. She was going to get her family out of Virgo now.

The rescuers were informed and the Sailor Senshi that had been waiting so eagerly for this day prepared to meet with Rei and her bandmates as soon as Sans teleported them to the agreed location. From there they would split into groups and take different paths to the warehouse where Silver would be waiting to begin surgery to remove their brain chips. Blanche would notice something wasn't right, no doubt. An entire band doesn't simply walk out the door, even with the teleporting head start. Someone from Virgo will try to stop them and hopefully they won't succeed.

[ Doctor finally wakes from the surgery but it's not a gentle rested rising, it's sudden and distressed. He lurches and sits up on the mattress where he was set down, beads of sweat running down his face like he just woke from a bad dream.

He looks up at Sailor Moon. He recognizes her, which brings some comfort to his distressed expression, and he swallows nervously at her question. ]

Not bad for a brain surgery patient. But- [ He groans at a shot of pain in his temple and grabs his bandaged forehead. ] Not... so good for someone who's been through Blanche's machine. No. No. No...

[ Virgo's programming is still tugging at him. Rei and Minako had an adventure dealing with him earlier, perhaps they had mentioned it to Sailor Moon. Silver had been smart and left Doctor's feet tied at the ankles in case he woke up and started to run. ]

It's still in my head. He's still in my head.

[lightthedarkness]

[She rests a gentle, but firm, gloved hand on his shoulder. She doesn't know if she can remove the taint of Blanche, her powers are quite weakened and the ability to purify is.. well she's not even sure she has it. She gave a soft "shhh." Even if she can't help with Blanche, this is a major victory; Rei is safe, they got the band, they got more than just the band, and that was quite a bit to be happy about. It meant they could save the others, could get the rest.

She put her focus back on the Doctor and brushed some of his hair from his face.]

You're in pain, I can heal you, and perhaps I can try and heal at least some of the damage Blanche did.

[ He gives a tired smile and nods. ]

Helping to close the hole in my head will be an improvement at least. Unless Blanche was supposed to be ejected out that way, then we have a problem don't we?

[ As he mentally pushes back against the programming it feels like his thoughts are starting to seep out of his head, a familiar feeling for a telepath but when laced with Blanche's presence he doesn't know what it would do if others felt it. ]

Careful. I have another leak in my head of a less physical and more mental sort.

[lightthedarkness]

One moment, then. [She held the Tiare in front of her and both it and her crescent moon began to glow bright and wrapped around the Doctor. With the light, she let the feelings of renewal, of relief, of happiness and new beginnings flow through the light and reach out to him, wrap around him.

She didn't bother closing her eyes, she didn't have to as she, the senshi of rebirth and renewal, did what she did best. Healing such a minor wound was nothing for her and she did it in matter of moments before the light ebbed but the feelings remained. She smiled.]

Better?

[ It's plain to see she helped; his posture relaxes into something more natural and his strained expression softens. ]

Yes. Much better. I feel as if I just ate my favorite food, surrounded by my family. That's an amazing talent for healing you have.

[ He swallows and pushes aside the whispers of the programming. They're still there but with his body healed and his spirit reassured it's much easier to fight his mental opponent. ]

Are you still sure you're not one of Rei's Space Ladies? I'd like to think she'd have someone like you by her side when she returns home.

[lightthedarkness]

[She smiled and nodded, feeling a tiny bit drained, but then, she wasn't at full powers here. She knew she'd have enough left in her to heal them all, if need be, even a fatal wound.]

I am one of her Space Ladies, though when you asked, at the time she didn't remember me. [In a way, Rei didn't really remember her still.] All four of us, we're all Rei's space ladies, I suppose.

[trustme]

You were protecting her. I understand.

[ He gives her a very tired but warm smile, a twinkle in his eye. ]

I am very happy to hear that. Rei has friends that will look after her and travel light years and galaxies to reach her. Those are the type of people Rei deserves to have in her life. All of them do.

[ His gaze wanders in his bandmates' directions around the warehouse. ]

It's the least I can do for her and for all of you.

You know, I never got a chance to say thank you for looking after here, for loving her. Rei is incredibly important to us. [She smiled as she rested a hand to her heart.] And I'm glad to know she didn't have to face any of this truly alone.

You're one of those people you know. And you deserve just as much the same, Doctor. You are a wonderful man and I haven't known you anywhere near as long as who came here for you.

She and the others helped me exponentially. I don't know what would have happened if I was alone. Looking after one another... It's just what you do when you become a family.

[ He chuckles when she compliments him and is about to tell her he's 'not sure what type of person' he really is. 'It seems to be a complicated answer.' ]

Who came-?

[ The news takes his breath away. ]

Someone came here for me? They know who I am?

[lightthedarkness]

[She wondered why Vastra hadn't gone to him yet. She knew she had been trying to... She pressed her lips together.]

She does know who you are, the real you. She's been a long time friend of yours, in fact.

Her name is Vastra. Now that you're free, I don't think it will be long before she comes to you or you to her. She told me a good deal about the real you.

Did she tell you who I am? What I am?

[ He knows he's not human. There's an entire universe of what's left of what that could mean though. ]

[lightthedarkness]

[She pressed her lips together and then reached out to hold the Doctor's hand.]

I think, Doctor, it's best if you and Vastra meet up and she can answer all those questions, because eventually you're going to ask something I can't answer when she can answer all of that as soon as she sees you.

Would you like it if I arranged for the two of you to meet?

[trustme]

Yes. Please- I could use the help. [ He rubs his forehead. ] It's difficult constantly fighting the programming. If I knew more about myself then I'd know what I'm fighting to uncover in my subconscious.

[lightthedarkness]

Alright, I'll let her know, we can meet someplace safe. [The underground should be just fine.] And Doctor, if you ever feel like you need help fighting the programming, let me know, alright?

[trustme]

Alright. Really, I think even just making conversation helps a little. Anything to distract me from the sound of Blanche making threats and calling me back. The sooner I meet Vastra the better. Don't worry about me being tired- it's hard to rest in this state any way.

[lightthedarkness]

Ah, well, you'll see me around all the time no. [She had yet to reveal her true identity, but she figured for now, especially with Blanche still in the Doctor's head, she couldn't risk herself and the girls like that.]

You do need to get some rest, though, especially after something as tiring as this, right?

[trustme]

I'll try.

[ Finally he lies back down on the old mattress. ]

Thank you Sailor Moon. I look forward to joining your mission to rescue everyone else from Virgo. I hope they won't begrudge us leaving without them.

No need for thanks, Doctor, I wish we could have gotten you out sooner, honestly. And they won't begrudge for long, if they do, we're going to get all of you your freedom.
