Nobody on the road, nobody on the beach

Who: Flashstep and YOU
What: assorted shenanigans with the Flashbabes
Where: Pride HQ and all around Vista City
When: mid-late April-ish??
Warnings: probably some manpain

The world tour looms, all of Pride Records is feeling the strain, and Flashstep is certainly no exception. There are new song and dance routines to be memorized, public appearances to be made, and promotional stunts to be undertaken, in between which the boys have to wrangle with the burgeoning reality of their situation and maybe try to have some semblance of a social life.

Life is stressful for the band, but stable, maybe even predictable - at least, until Sora's unexpected firing.

If that was the best Manish Patil could do, he'd have to do a lot more to leave him quaking in fear. Now that he remembered who he was, this was an incredibly feeble attempt to get him back in line.

As such, he sighed, rolled his eyes and waved his hand dismissively.

"Yeah, yeah, fine. I'll be on time."

He's quick, quicker than Demyx expected and his arm is wrenched behind him suddenly. The twist on his wrist is a nice touch and he lets out a surprised yelp. He hadn't been expecting Patil to get violent, in fact, why would they?

It wasn't like he was speaking to former associates, former associates who would do much worse than give his arm a little twist. He wondered just how dangerous these people were. Roxas alluded to those in charge having some kind of power, but he hadn't expected their manager to.

His expression was a calculated smirk. Surprised he was, but scared he wasn't. This man had nothing on his Superior.

"You're going to have to do better than that. If I didn't change my attitude before, you're not going to change my mind." At least his bit his tongue, at least he kept information he shouldn't have said from escaping.

"Look, I'll come and I'll be on time to perform. I like performing, it's fun. As for the rest of it?" He shrugged. "I'll try."

He let out a little whine as the pressure intensified. It did hurt, but it likely wouldn't for long once Patil let go of him. He rested his forehead against the wall, gritting his teeth. Jamie's advice was helpful, but he wasn't feeling particularly like his bandmates were that much of a factor in what he was doing. What did they care what happened to him?

"I'm not exactly sure." He said, through gritted teeth. "What you're expecting to get out of this then. I told you what you wanted to hear."
