Everyone- well every newbie- is ball and chained to Virgo Entertainment's headquarters for the time being. What's the emergency? No one knows, but you're all stuck here regardless.

[Doctor happens to look up in Rei's direction at the right moment to catch her sketching. He attempts to keep a straight face but laughter bubbles up inside of him and as it bursts out of him he can't resist standing up and taking a pose.]

Contrapposto!

[faithfulflame]

[That was unexpected. Rei's face twists up in surprise and she accidentally drops the sketchpad with an undignified squawk. What! What?! What?!?!]

Doctor!

[trustme]

Contrapposto! The classic artist's favorite type of pose!

[He remains standing in place, posed, as he explains himself.]

Well you were just drawing me weren't you?

[faithfulflame]

I know what that pose is...but really?

[She shakes her head.]

Though, you got me. Yes. I was.

[trustme]

[Still unmoving, he replies.]

What? I can be a grand model! Sketch away! You don't have any rules against sketching people who know you're sketching them, do you?

[faithfulflame]

Fine. I hope you're prepared.

[And without any more word, Rei starts sketching this new pose...very intently.]

Could you tilt your head up more?

[trustme]

[Doctor points his chin higher in the air.]

How long have you had an interest in drawing? Is this a new thing you're starting because of the lock down?

[faithfulflame]

Ah, no? It's just something I do sometimes. Helps me focus, when I can't normally. Since I hate messing up anything that I do.

[The perfectionist in her basically screams at her to focus and do it right.]

[trustme]

It's a bit difficult isn't it? Being a perfectionist in any kind of art.

[He always appreciated how motivated Rei was to practice. In the late hours he was at work she was always ready to grab her violin. The type of obsession and drive they shared came with its costs though.]

[faithfulflame]

A bit, yes. But it's helpful in times like this.

[When she can't find anything better to do. Though the conversation is making her mind wander and she sets down the pad with a shake of her head.]

But talking isn't...conducive to getting a lot done. And I keep thinking back to the basement. And y-yesterday.

[There's a quiver in her voice, unhappy, but quickly recovered from.]

Drawing helps though, since we don't have practice.

[trustme]

[Doctor remains in place except for his expression which changes to small frown.]

Yesterday? What happened yesterday?

[faithfulflame]

Ah. Another thing like with those lights.

[She looks out the window towards that stormy sea.]

This time it wasn't that castle though. Really I don't know, what to make of this one. It was a violinist at a concert. So it could have been a normal daydream.

[trustme]

What about it makes you think it was related to the lights then?

[A violinist was just the sort of dream he'd think was normal for Rei.]

[faithfulflame]

Because it had the same...feeling...that those visions had. Like it was real, like it was something that I saw before.

[Nevermind that she never heard of Michiru Kaioh before yesterday.]

[trustme]

Oh. [Doctor's brows raise.]

Tell me more then! I'm not sure that I've been effected by more memories from lights but I- I have been having strange dreams.

[faithfulflame]

Well. There was a woman, playing at a concert. On an actual Stradivarius!

[Which is exciting. Because it's not one of the ones that's accounted for.]

I didn't know who she was, but I saw on the program for the play that it was Michiru Kaioh. But...I don't know who that is. Or where she got that violin.

[trustme]

Dream or real, I like that girl. [Doctor jokes.]

A Stradivarius though- she would have to be good or she doesn't deserve one.

That's a far cry from visions of a castle though. Unless that was her venue.

[faithfulflame]

Oh, no. It seemed a bit more like...a normal concert hall? Nothing too unusual.

Other than the fact that I've never been there or seen her before but felt like I had.

[trustme]

I think- I think I understand what you're talking about. The people I saw in my strange visions all felt familiar. Like seeing photos of old friends.

Familiar people who we can't find. Not exactly reassuring but somehow... It feels nice to see them. I don't like the fact I'm hallucinating but the things I see aren't that bad. If my dreams are more visions then I've been spending a lot of time in outer space with a robot dog. It's a blast.

[faithfulflame]

[Rei snorts a little laugh, amusement bubbling up inside.]

Seriously? And I think I had some strange dreams. Mysterious concerts and crystal cities and that...Guardian of Silence. It's almost like I'm dreaming of being a superhero.

[trustme]

Superheroes are cool! That's a great dream to have! I'm an astronaut then aren't I? With the best robot companion ever. K-9.

[faithfulflame]

That's certainly something yes. I mean, I always thought Pao-Lin would be the super hero though. I just...want to play music, you know? And I'd be a priest otherwise.

[trustme]

I understand. I don't know what I'd do without music. It's always been my world.

We're heroes of a sort any way. Even if you think it's more suitable for Pao-Lin, you still have a lot of people looking up to you. You can be the violin super hero.

[faithfulflame]

Maybe, changing the world through inspiration or something. I'm not sure I'd look good in a cape and cowl.

[trustme]

Have you ever worn one? You can't know for sure until you've donned the costume.

I imagine you as a very stylish superhero.
