Everyone got the same call-- and now we're all stuck in HQ with no hint of release in sight.

The reason? No one knows.

B jumps, scrambling to pull off the headphones that did absolutely nothing to block out that sound. He leans toward Jamie, blue eyes wide with concern.

"Hey-- you okay, man?"

[mildwildchild]

"Yeah," Jamie replies, after a moment's pause. He reaches up to rub at the side of his face - haltingly, like he's forgotten how to work his limbs. "Yeah, fine, I'm - just dozed off, I think, had a weird dream..."

He shudders violently, still wracked with utter paralyzing fear that he can't explain, and tries belatedly to dismiss it with a weak half-grin. "Dumb, huh? Sorry for bothering you."

[killerbeep]

"It's alright. Just good to know you're okay..."

He doesn't look much less worried. He taps his fingers against the couch for a couple moments before leaning forward again. "Are we talking just weird here, or like... weird."

Is he talking about the hallucinations thing or the hazing trauma thing, we just don't know.

"What?" Jamie tops the unconvincing grin with an even more unconvincing, slightly hysterical chuckle. "Uhh, I think you're gonna have to define 'weird' and 'weird', 'cause..." He trails off, and his hand slides up to rake through his hair in a vaguely agitated gesture.

Eventually he drops his hand, looks down at his lap, sniffs a little. "It was...both, I guess?" He says this quietly, almost meekly, as though expecting some kind of recrimination for admitting it.

[killerbeep]

"...Huh." B just sits there for a moment, then shifts so that he's actually sitting next to Jamie instead of having his feet up on the couch like a freakin savage.

"Seems like there's a lot of that going on lately." It's not a meaningless comment; he's frowning thoughtfully, staring at the floor in front of him. Really, B has had his own share of weird dreams lately, and, if he's honest? It's starting to freak him out.

"Yeah, well, between that shit at the amusement park and being locked up here like a bunch of prison inmates I guess it's not that surprising." He huffs another shaky laugh, trying and failing to hide how utterly, inexplicably terrified he still feels, and then risks a glance over at B.

"Have the other guys said anything to you, or..." He shrugs a little aimlessly, averting his eyes again. "...or has it been happening to you, too?"

[killerbeep]

He only responds with a quiet, hesitant hum at first, which probably answers that question pretty well. He wouldn't bother evading if it weren't a personal subject.

"...Yeah. Occasionally." He huffs, hunching his shoulders slightly. "I'd... kinda hoped it would stop or something by now, y'know?"

[mildwildchild]

"Me too." Jamie watches B out of the corner of his eye, contemplating his next words.

"...were they about robots again?"

[killerbeep]

He nods. It's almost always robots.

"Not the same one, though."

He's not sure if that's better or worse than having just the one hallucination robot.

[mildwildchild]

"What was this one like?" Jamie hesitates again. "What did it...feel...like?"

Which sounds weird without context, he knows, but hopefully B understands what he's getting at. They talked about the way the hallucinations felt at the gala, the first time it happened.
