The second the lockdown is lifted, Luci springs into action. She's mass texting everyone involved:

It's time. Tomorrow night, we ride at 7PM for an 8PM start. Get your best shit dry cleaned.

There's already an exodus happening out of Pride HQ given they weren't the only ones on lockdown either, so slipping out is easy enough. They converge on the location, Luci makes good on her suggestion and hands the techbooth a wad of money to stop playing recorded dance mixes and let them take over the stage. She can already see one guy frantically texting into his lap as she explains what's about to happen. Perfect.

"You should tell your manager to call in more bouncers and remove some of the tables, this place is about to be packed."

[ Doctor hadn't ever cared much for intense rivalries between labels, and that competition was all about the companies and their money any way. He was in the business for the art, which was why he made sure to set aside time to sneak out to the performance. -That and he had a handful of friends in Pride that he wanted to support. He sticks around the performance area after the show to see if he can get a friendly word in with any of the performers before the media shows up. He's wearing a hat and sunglasses to hide his identity. ]

Wonderful performance! I regret not doing something similar with Virgo just to celebrate our regained freedom.

[traumatizing]

Thanks. [Terry doesn't smile exactly, but he seems pleased regardless.] I'd say there's still time, but... The label might be watching for this kind of thing now.

Yes. A flash mob wouldn't be as much of a surprise now. I think Virgo will have to do something else if we want to make a statement and slip past the radar.

Well, at least one set of lockdown prisoners got away with something! [ He offers Terry a handshake. ] I'm Doctor from Flowers Over Bones. And... I know who you are, as you can image. [ He waves back towards the stage. ]

[traumatizing]

[He shakes the Doctor's hand, smiling politely, but he makes a noise of recognition after a second.] You went to the same college as Garnet, right?

[trustme]

That's right. We're old classmates and friends. -Not what the tabloids have claimed, mind you.

[traumatizing]

So you mean you didn't call her a square who made you feel like you were living in a box?

[trustme]

No. No. [ He starts to laugh. ] Did they say that? I didn't read the article. I only saw the headline and the fake photo.

I think you'd know what I mean when I say Garnet has never been much of the dating type to begin with.

[Luce pinches his side, fortunately around to hear that bit of wistfulness.]

Oh, like you need more ideas.

[trustme]

[ Doctor jumps and bites his lip, rubbing his side and frowning back at her. ]

Ouch! [ He whines. ] Ouch on behalf of my side and on behalf of my mind with all its ideas. [ His smile quickly returns. ] At least Angel appreciates my ideas.

That's because Angel doesn't know how to stop you, dear.

[Still, she's smiling. It take something serious to make Luce stop, honestly.]

You know, we'd have to come up with something unique so we don't look like copycats.

Does that mean other impromptu performances are out? It might look to much alike even if we surprised an audience at a different type of location. [ He starts to rub his chin, diving all ready into brainstorming. ]

Another internet video? A game? A funny song? More of Ivan's origami?

We don't want to overuse Ivan's origami skills, if only to save him.

[Luce chuckles, but now she's starting to think herself.]

A game, hm...?

A game to... get a free song download or video address online? A scavenger hunt would be most fun!

We could make it a big event. Collaborate with a museum or aquarium, hide things through the exhibits!

Oooh! I like that idea! [ He claps his hands like an excited toddler. ] Which do you like better? Museum or aquarium?

[giglio_madonna]

Aquarium. [The answer comes immediately without hesitation.] I promised Pao-Lin we'd go one day.

[trustme]

We have to do it now. You promised. [ He looks very pleased with his announcement. ] Good choice. I like the aquarium better. Are museums are all right but history museums have always bothered me for some reason. I go any way because it feels like I should but they leave me feeling dissatisfied.

[giglio_madonna]

Dissatisfied? That's certainly a new one. I thought you would be the type to love all the interesting bits and pieces in a history museum.

[Glasses and a hat don't fool her, especially after looking at Doctor's tumblr tag for a while after their collaboration. Luci smirks at his hat.]

It's not your usual thing, but I hope you liked Junkyard's set.

Yes! Definitely! It was great being in the crowd; all that energy! I think I saw one of the girls faint when you looked her way.

Did you write that song? Your stage presence is so strong- I'll have to watch you perform again. I might not look it but I enjoy "rocking out." I played lead guitar in a rock band back when I was a teenager. [ Good luck picturing that in your head Luci. ]

[Luci laughs, snapping her jacket in victory.] I do love it when they do that, don't you?

I started it, but the rest of the Carnival had their thoughts on it. Can't do it alone, after all, none of us can. [Luci tilts her head towards the bar, indicating that he should follow.] Let me know if you're in the neighborhood, I'll get you VIP tickets. Maybe sometime we can "rock out" together outside the watchful eyes of our overseers. [Somehow it's not so hard for her to imagine.]

I wouldn't know. I haven't noticed anyone fainting around me.

That would be great! [ He turns to walk with her to the bar. ] I know some small studio owners from around the city. I'm sure one of them could spare a room for us to "rock" in for a few hours. I'll lie to my manager and say I'm going out for lunch.
