☆THE FESTIVAL

Welcome to the South Vista Music Fest! An enormous, weeklong festival with hundreds of bands performing nearly 24/7, the Music Fest is a quarter annual event that celebrates all manners of local talent, both big time and small time. Every band from Pride Records and Virgo Entertainment will have performances to do, including the freshly recruited – you better have your act together, because now is your time to shine!

Player bands will be performing roughly once a day, with bands from the first app round predominantly with evening slots and the newest bands with predominantly afternoon slots. There is definitely a hierarchy to the scheduling - Pride and Virgo claim almost all of the prime performance times, while other labels are forced to deal with the leftovers. You've definitely been chosen by the winners of the music industry in these parts, that's for sure.

Shuttles will be available to take people back to their relative HQs in their downtime, but they're also allowed to hang out and enjoy the festivities if that's what they prefer. Stuff is happening all day and night, so it's really just a question of how much you can party while still being conscious for your own show. Your managers will tell you that the company CEOs pay extra close attention to this event, so that you need to be on your best behaviour.

The festival takes up a massive amount of floor area with multiple stages of various sizes and a large amount of glowy display screens. It's set up on the ground floor of the cityscape, meaning that the suspension roads and walkways above have been programmed to add to the ambient lighting all day and night.

► TRAILER PARK KIDS: For those that just want to chill, there is a massive VIP area reserved for labels to park various trailers for their musicians to hang out in during downtime - one for each band. They aren't quite as big as the tour buses, but they are comfortable and well stocked. Each is equipped with two beds and a bathroom/shower. Pretty much every local band you know of is here, including the notorious Predator. Nose around their trailer at your own risk.

► IN THE SPOTLIGHT: With at least six performances in a span of six days, there is plenty of time for shenanigans to go down both back and center stage. Time to show your mettle, and to hope that some asshole doesn't take all the best food items from the backstage catering tables before you can get to them.

► ATMOSPHERIC NOISE: If you dare brave the storm, there is a massive quantity of merch, vendor, and food booths available for your perusal. Many fans endeavor to spend as much time at Music Fest as possible, and so the space is very lived in, with large groups of people hanging out in well populated lounge areas. Depending on how popular you are, it may be difficult to get around without getting swarmed by your fans.

► DON'T FORGET TO REMEMBER: And all the while, the strange memories continue. The label's newest members will have started to feel strange as of November 6th, and by the time of the Fest almost all of them will be discovering their first memories regains. The first one should be based on the alignment you chose, but the rest can be whatever you want. New character may regain up to 4 memories between their arrival and the end of November.

[Bill turned around, arching a brow in bemusement. He admit he had expected a fan of some sort, not another musician, one from Pride no less.
It's not that he minded people staring. Oh no- he had asked for the attention hadn't he? It's simply that usually that was all they did. Stared and got too skittish to approach. Bill always looked forward to the ones with enough guts to stay. It didn't hurt this one wasn't bad on the 'eye' either.]

"Like what you see?"

[He teased with a quick laugh, turning around to approach with the quiet click of his gold tipped shoes.]

"Let. Me. Guess..."

[He tapped his chin, going through the other bands he saw earlier from memory. It always had been a talent of his.]

"Crown of Thorns, right?"

[Rival labels or not, you know real artistry (and insanity) when you see it. The man, the infamous saxophonist...]

Yes, pianist. It's a pleasure to finally meet you.

[Artistry and insanity are definitely something Bill can get behind. How could he possibly ignore an admirer? He reaches out to shake her hand, humming mildly at the praise.]

"And you. Name's Bill! But I take it you knew that already.

So were the pianist hm? You've got a real talent for those keys; I don't hear trills like that every day, let me tell ya!

Now! To who do I owe the pleasure?"

"Now, now, now. I practice everyday like everyone else." She prefers to be modest here around Bill.

"Tamara. I've followed all your projects, all the bands you've been in." She's kind of a fan.

"Oh you have, have you?"

[Bill's grin notches a hair wider; he likes this game. Flattery will get you everywhere! He notes this woman is a touch more sophisticated than most of his fanbase, that makes it even better.]

“Not Tamara Seward?”

[Then he isn't the only one with past projects- true, not quite to his taste but the name did ring a bell. Carefully he tries switching over the handshake to instead lace his gloved fingers between hers, curious if she'll let him.]

“Well then, I'll have to really put on a show tonight. If ya liked that, our new stuff is going to blow you away.”

"Well, I did some bands myself..." She says modestly.

She allows him, but doesn't mention it, such is non-obvious flirtation.

"I'll be sure to witness it."

“See that you do.”

[And next Bill is tilting his wrist back to expertly slip something between their clasped hands before he parts them; A thinly gold-etched business card. It's coded, because of course it is- it's Bill Cipher's, as if he'd ever do something in a normal fashion- buuut if this woman is truly a fan of as many of his projects as she says, he's confident enough she'll be able to crack it. Besides, it could be nice to have someone to chat up other than Sans and his ~~yes amusing but~~ ridiculous jokes. He smirks]

"In the meantime, looks like I’ll be watching you.”

[If Crown of Thorns didn't hold an interest for him before, it certainly did now.]

[When Tamara looks at the card she will try her best to not freak out. A actual code from Bill Cipher himself. If Bill cares to look closely the woman is kind of vibrating with excitement.

Is Bill going to watch her?]

I'll have to do my best then.

[The only response she gets is a knowing smirk and a vague approximation of a nod.

He doffs his hat in her direction before resuming his walk. By the sound of thing and the lights flashing in the distance, the stage appears to be prepping for another performance soon; his possibly. He won't say any parting words, but the look he'll give her before carrying on his way says it all. An expression more eye than teeth or any other conceivable human feature; it's elusive, promising danger, excitement and just a hint of something else.

Oh yes, Tamara you will.]
