☆THE FESTIVAL Welcome to the South Vista Music Fest! An enormous, weeklong festival with hundreds of bands performing nearly 24/7, the Music Fest is a quarter annual event that celebrates all manners of local talent, both big time and small time. Every band from Pride Records and Virgo Entertainment will have performances to do, including the freshly recruited – you better have your act together, because now is your time to shine! ![]() Player bands will be performing roughly once a day, with bands from the first app round predominantly with evening slots and the newest bands with predominantly afternoon slots. There is definitely a hierarchy to the scheduling - Pride and Virgo claim almost all of the prime performance times, while other labels are forced to deal with the leftovers. You've definitely been chosen by the winners of the music industry in these parts, that's for sure. Shuttles will be available to take people back to their relative HQs in their downtime, but they're also allowed to hang out and enjoy the festivities if that's what they prefer. Stuff is happening all day and night, so it's really just a question of how much you can party while still being conscious for your own show. Your managers will tell you that the company CEOs pay extra close attention to this event, so that you need to be on your best behaviour. The festival takes up a massive amount of floor area with multiple stages of various sizes and a large amount of glowy display screens. It's set up on the ground floor of the cityscape, meaning that the suspension roads and walkways above have been programmed to add to the ambient lighting all day and night. ► TRAILER PARK KIDS: For those that just want to chill, there is a massive VIP area reserved for labels to park various trailers for their musicians to hang out in during downtime - one for each band. They aren't quite as big as the tour buses, but they are comfortable and well stocked. Each is equipped with two beds and a bathroom/shower. Pretty much every local band you know of is here, including the notorious Predator. Nose around their trailer at your own risk. ► IN THE SPOTLIGHT: With at least six performances in a span of six days, there is plenty of time for shenanigans to go down both back and center stage. Time to show your mettle, and to hope that some asshole doesn't take all the best food items from the backstage catering tables before you can get to them. ► ATMOSPHERIC NOISE: If you dare brave the storm, there is a massive quantity of merch, vendor, and food booths available for your perusal. Many fans endeavor to spend as much time at Music Fest as possible, and so the space is very lived in, with large groups of people hanging out in well populated lounge areas. Depending on how popular you are, it may be difficult to get around without getting swarmed by your fans. ► DON'T FORGET TO REMEMBER: And all the while, the strange memories continue. The label's newest members will have started to feel strange as of November 6th, and by the time of the Fest almost all of them will be discovering their first memories regains. The first one should be based on the alignment you chose, but the rest can be whatever you want. New character may regain up to 4 memories between their arrival and the end of November. |

Artolo says it with a straight face... until he bursts out sniggering from where he's shown up from around one of the other trailers. "Okay, no, fuck that, no black, we need bright eye breaking neon. Give it wings or something. What do you think of that?"
What do you mean this is not only illegal, which is no big deal, but taunting the powers that be of a higher placed band?
Artolo could not care less.

When the guy says neon it hits Fetch instantly that that is what this guy is missing. Bright blues, pinks and purples that practically glow....it's insanely satisfying to think about and Fetch wishes she could find the guy who bought her the spray in the first place.
"Would if I could. Don't have any other colors on me though."
no subject
It won't be easy, but he's sure if a little asking around is done and they hurry up enough...
no subject
"We just went up for our set, I'm not going on for a while. You?"
no subject
"Artolo. Crown of Thorns, the obnoxious gothic band. Wassup."
no subject
"Sweet."
Fetch obliges him on the fist bump - feeling good natured in the face of the camaraderie they find between one another. Her grin widens slightly when he tells her the name of his band. She has to actively keep herself from gushing - a lot of the people she'd been seeing today were sort of idols to her and her brother when they just started out. She'd only just joined in this top tier level of bandom a few days ago.
"Fetch. Junkyard Carnival, obnoxious punk band. Nice to meet ya."
It'd take some getting used to.
no subject
Junkyward Carnival... He clicks his tongue in the back of his mouth. He knows that. Possibly not for the right reasons, but hey.
"Isn't that with the guy who keeps getting arrested and the social media demon?" He says 'demon' in a way that's actually sort of like praise.

She looks pretty pleased with herself for falling into this crowd. Fetch wasn't sure what people thought of them inside the Pride label, but from his reaction they don't seem too hated.
Good. She isn't going to say anything to that effect, but her face shows just how pleased she is.
no subject
"The whole gothic label doesn't really let you be an utter shit."
no subject
She starts walking towards the more populated part of the back area where all the bands are staying in their respective trailers. There's a large group of roadies and managers all congregating under some bright stadium lighting to consolidate their supply of t-shirts, posters and whatever else they can possibly come up with to make more money off their bands.
"Let's go bug the merch goons. They should have something."
If anyone would have neon colored spray paint...
no subject
He links his fingers behind his neck, casting a critical eye over all the supplies. In the back of his head, he's rapidly compiling a list of the bands present and their "gimmick". His bandmates might be surprised to know he actually is pretty smart. He just doesn't give a fuck nine times out of ten.
"I think there are a couple Virgo bands I could filch from that are into the neon shit. I'll go and check them out, you cover Pride, meet up in ten?"
no subject
Her thoughts trail off at Artolo's plan and she nods with a wink to her partner in crime.
"Roger, roger."
no subject
But there are still a few that are good to grab. How sad that they'll be robbed of one of their ways to mark various merch and boxes. Oh well. Not his problem.
While he's not exactly on time at returning to the meeting place with Fetch, he's more or less on time, and that's what counts. Not late enough to call in a rescue party or anything. Bouncing on his heels, he looks to see where she's at.
no subject
There's one - count 'em one - neon pink color for the pop bands crap that must have been meant for a fog machine or something to make colored smoke. Whatever, who cares? It's her's now!
Fetch waits exactly long enough for Artolo to get antsy and she's only just started pacing by the time he shows up. She could use a hit. But this is more important right now.
"Finally! I thought you died, man."
By her smile she doesn't really mean it.
no subject
"If I was about to die, you'd hear me swearing and screaming all the way from Europa. So, whatcha got?" Proudly, he holds up a bottle of bright neon green in one hand and yellow in another. There are some more stuffed into the pockets of his coat.
"This is what I managed to grab."
no subject
She lets them all fall out of her hands onto the ground and straightens them as she takes the two out of her pockets. In total there's about six cans. Not too much but enough to do some editing.
"So. Whatcha wanna do to it?"
She jerks her chin at the stag on the wall and watches it from her crouch. It looks good, but he was right. It was missing something.
no subject
"Well, we want to make sure we put, like, the pink to good use since we only have a bit of it, yeah?"
