His words seemed to make Mai stiffen up some. Or rather sit up at attention without actually moving all that much. She was loathe to change her body language much with the bodyguards drifting around as they were.
She took the chance to leave in. She figured the bodyguards would be less likely to be too nosey if it were just one somewhat drunk musician half flirting with another.
"It's kind of hard to imagine. Not that there isn't drama between the labels usually anyhow but it seems... out there to think they had a lot to do with this."
