Logically, Greg knows he ought to refuse her request. It's dangerous to spread this information around, he's already told too many people.

But it's Luce. He trusts her, and she trusts him. He doesn't want to be the sort of person who hides things from his friends. This is easily the most worked up Greg's gotten to see Luce; even after Naomi's murder, she'd pulled herself together fairly well by the time they'd gotten to talk. He's already made her worry, and denying her will make things worse.
