On Tiger's part, he's pretty much stopped trying. Instead, he is still just looking around the boiler room, trying to make the slightest bit of sense of this, his stomach turning and his chest tight with anxiety. Are they being held hostage? Is there going to be a ransom? Is someone going to kill them?

He suddenly feels very, very alone. And for a moment it completely knocks the sass right out of him.

"I was...I was just in my room..." He looks downward, figuratively melting with distress. "I thought I just fell asleep, but..."
