Despite Sora's restraint, Jamie side-eyes him and fidgets. His bandmate's dismissive attitude, no matter how friendly and well-intended, still grates a little.

He glances nervously back toward Patil, who for the moment is ignoring his charges in favor of attending to the next presenter. "We don't have to stress about it all the time," Jamie says, leaning in. "Just when we're out in public, at things like this. I like to have fun too, but you gotta accept that part of being a musician is making yourself look good. Y'know, making a good impression on people. Especially when you're just starting out, like we are."
