It was hard, nothing was harder on her than being forgotten by her loved ones, it's why her enemies kept doing it to her, it's what brought her to her knees. The difference with this, though was that as Rei remembered, she couldn't force herself on Rei, she couldn't force her time around Rei, because that wasn't going to make her remember her any faster, it wasn't going to make Rei remember herself any better.

She looked up at the mention of staying, and swallowed.
