That's fair. As Nobody's there wasn't exactly a class on 'what to do once you get your heart back' explaining how to handle the emotions that can be, at best and worst, crippling. If Roxas wasn't at the supposed near-end of his life come time when he realized he had these feelings, he may have reacted the same way.
