[ Left and right robot soldiers lose legs or break in half as Venus's chain whips them and tosses them aside, leaving the way ahead clear again minus struggling robots that hadn't stopped functioning just yet. The roof is clear, with the last of those trying to cut them off from above incinerated.

Behind there's the sound of running. No doubt the next wave trying to catch up. ]

[ Doctor says out of the blue and begins laughing deeper and slower than he ever does. ]

I admit I admire your determination and spunk but those are also qualities that can get an entire group of people killed. Such a waste. You were one of my most promising projects, surpassed only perhaps by Mr. Universe.

[ If Doctor doesn't sound like himself it's for good reason. Even his voice has changed to something unmistakably close to that of Edward Blanche. (Have fun carrying in your arms Mars.) ]
