Shin's expression is unreadable, but if Roxas can really understand Shin, then he already knows that his words hit home just from how unreadable that expression is. That Shin lets out a keening sob and hides his face again as his shoulders shake. This time as he cries he actually lets Roxas hear it, even if he's still rather quiet. He doesn't know or understand why now he feels like he can make a sound, but just maybe it's him actually starting to feel some kind of connection to someone else.

He pulls himself together tighter, but if Roxas tries to take that hand away, Shin will grab it himself, for better or worse.
