"I had much the same idea: the festival is... as tiring as it sounds, if you're a performer," he admits. "I needed to set my back to it, for a moment, just to be myself, Kiernan MacLeod, instead of Sariel, the dark, earth-walking angel." He might sound... not frantic, as he carries himself with too much grace for that, but perhaps frayed fits.
