Steven is looking down when Greg says that, but the thank you causes him to raise his head and actually smile. He comes forward a few more feet, close to the edge of the hot tub. If Greg is still hoping he goes away, he seems to be accomplishing the opposite with this route of conversation.

"I don't regret it," he says softly, like it's a secret. Pride and Virgo security both wander the hotel in droves. "Not ever."
