[Oh, Garnet's paying? Don't mind if he does! It's a welcome distraction from all the internal juxaposition he's been facing. Dreams of saving people and fighting people, and one particularly alarming moment of getting choked by himself.

And he's buying what he wants, lots of red and black and metal. A mannequin at the border to a women's clothing section makes him do a double-take, though. It's wearing a light blue and white tiered dress, a white shirt underneath, and a wide-brimmed hat, appropriate for the hot summer sun. In the back of his mind he can hear a girl calling his name, and almost see her smiling. She has long dark hair, and bangs. She's far from a high-maintenance kind of girl, he can tell. The kind that would cook you dinner with a smile, probably.
He suddenly had a craving for fried shrimp.
In the end, he stopped staring and went back to shopping.
He starts laughing at a particularly awful pattern on a shirt. It's green, teal, and blue paisley patchworked with denim. Oh it's expensive as hell, but that doesn't stop it from being ugly as sin.]
