As if on cue, Ivan's stomach grumbles at the plate of food. He can't remember the last time he ate. Did he have something when he was working backstage earlier today? ... Yesterday? Ivan's not sure of the time either, though he knows he's not late for his "work." That he won't miss.

Still, he doesn't reach for the sandwich to satisfy his traitorous stomach.
