Doctor runs a hand over his face and lowers his head. He pauses and takes a breath.

"I mean all this structure here, the walls, the floors, the ceilings, have all been made over the years out of the crystallized souls of the people they kidnapped like us." He raises a hand, puts a finger up to get another thought in. "Greg and Meril both were partly crystallized and survived. If we can stop Blanche and Santiago without destroying the structure here we may be able to find a way to save these people. I can still feel their presence, the pieces are still living."
