choose your own adventure [open]
Who: Haruka Tenoh & you!
What: A few days in the life of a chauffeur for hire. Who may get roped into some other activities.
When: Feb 27 - March 3
Where: All over the city
Warnings: Nineties anime.
[ option 1 - evening, musicians only ]
[ Hey, awesome! Your band ordered a limo. Or maybe they didn't and someone at this limousine company just thinks they did. Either way, they've dispatched one to come pick you up, and the chauffeur is both 1) very charming and 2) very handsome. ] Good evening. Where can I take you tonight?
[ No matter what facial expression the clients are wearing, this chauffeur keeps smiling. ]
[ option b - midday, outside of brad's diner ]
Step right up! Come one, come all!
[ Sigh. It would be just Haruka's luck that she'd check up on Minako - not even planning on entering the workplace, just peering in the window - when the place was short on staff. So now Haruka's out on the streets with a bunch of flyers, cheerful as can be...on the surface, anyway. Why is she so good at this. Why. ] Brad's Diner is trying a new dessert menu. A snack on your lunch break, sir? Madam?
[ She smiles at a group of high-school girls, who huddle together to support their sudden collective case of weak knees. ] Surely there's a better place to skip school, kittens.
[ She winks. One of the girls faints. Haruka laughs and turns to the next person she sees - you. ] Excuse me!
[ option c - morning, outside the virgo entertainment resort ]
[ If you're up at the crack of dawn, you may see someone heading for the building. But she's not looking at the door - instead, she seems to be taking stock of the windows and general layout.
She's also keeping to the shadows and looking...up. ]

So imagine her surprise when she saw a very familiar tall figure passing out flyers.
She came up behind Haruka, though she suspected the senshi of wind and sky already sensed her presence. She gently tapped on her shoulder.]
Hello, Alex. Did Di convince you to help?
no subject
[ Haruka actually starts. She nearly starts again when she sees who it is, but this makes sense, doesn't it. The Princess both wants to spend lunch break with her friend and has a cast-iron stomach.
The Princess is kind of amazing sometimes.
She grins, but it's slightly forced. ] ...Something like that.
[ This is the part where she's supposed to hand Usagi a flyer, but is there a point when Usagi is going to Brad's anyway? ] You're headed over now?
no subject
Like... why Haruka was helping with the diner when she had a job as a chauffeur.]
Do you want to join us? Er... can you?
no subject
[ She didn't inadvertently lead to the person who was supposed to be out here spraining their ankle or anything, no, that would be cliché and overdone, how silly. ] Sorry.
no subject
That way you can get done in half the time, right?
no subject
[ One of these days Haruka's natural inclination to consider every human interaction a possible imposition on someone's Sovereign Space is going to take a backseat to her knowing Usagi does not see the world that way. Today is not that day. ]
no subject
And Di won't get worried cause I'll be with you.
no subject
Haruka hides a laugh and hands over half her flyers. If they're in the same general area, Usagi can't get into too much trouble doing this, right? Or attract too much attention from the wrong quarters? ] Don't oversell it.
no subject
Usagi did exactly as promised she would, and since this involved just simply inviting people to come eat and handing them a flyer, it didn't take her very long at all. She was hopping back to Haruka and grabbed onto her arm, smiling.]
All done! Are you? Let's go eat! My treat!
no subject
She laughs and hands the rest of her flyers to the young lady she'd been addressing when Usagi headed over. ] ...You can invite all your friends. The more the merrier - but I'll be looking for you.
[ Sparkle. Pastels. The girl promises, rapt, to bring a whole crowd.
And just like that, Haruka's free! Oh...joy. ] ....you're wasted inside the shop.
[ Any chance she could convince you to work with Minako? ]
no subject
That tended to make things faster, though probably not nearly as entertaining. As soon as Haruka is done she gives a small cry of glee and grabs her "cousin's" hand.]
My cousin is so awesome, making everyone swoon. [She was actually quite serious about that. Usagi was enamored by all her senshi for their skills and abilities. Haruka and the other outer senshi were all incredible.
The mention of the "cousin" bit was because Usagi saw the girls Haruka had flirted with start to get upset, she didn't want a repeat of Garnet's fans.]
Nonsense, I get to go to the most amazing places and shows because of the shop!
no subject
As she sees her fate is inevitable, she begins leading Usagi back to the diner. ] You've gotten to see lots of musicians, then?
[ She's counting on you to take care of that part. Er. She's counting on Minako, and you will be there too, for crises. ]
no subject
What about you?
no subject
[ It's not the musicians in and of themselves she's after, though. But she's not about to point out they're a means, not an end, to this audience. ]
no subject
But I hope you're getting along well, at least? [She knew Haruka was likely having a hard time without Michiru. She was having just as much issue without Mamoru.]
no subject
[ Deflecting from having to admit anything about her mental state? Must be a day ending in y. ]
no subject
Which is why I'm asking.
no subject
We handed out lots of flyers. They're probably going to run out of cake soon.
no subject
Ah... yeah... maybe Di won't bring any home then. [She smiled but didn't have as much heart in it as she usually did regarding food.]
no subject
[ They are almost at the shop, after all. ]
no subject
no subject
For now. ]
