☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

Who: Royals, Heroes, and Rebels.
What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!
When: March 21st.
Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

Before;
[Terry is pretty happy with his look for the show, he's already cleared keeping the costume afterward and everything, that's how much he loves it. Being someone who wears as much makeup and generally cumbersome clothing as he does anyway, Terry doesn't need to spend a lot of time in costume and he's generally pleasant to deal with.]

[He's tense once that's done though. Mostly just pacing while he waits for the call to head out to set. Not that he's nervous, but you know. He's totally 100% nervous about this.]

After;
[He's a hell of a lot more relaxed once his bit's over and done with. For the most part, Terry just kinda sits around doing nothing because it's actually kind of nice to have nothing to do, but he'll also approach people coming back to ask how their bit went, or offer to help anyone who looks particularly uncomfortable in costume. Such a kind young man, this one.]

[Garnet, meanwhile, has gotten her hair powdered bright powder pink, to complement her powder blue dress. Her third eye is shut tightly, and is either way covered by heavy, feathery facial make up and powder.]

[Oh-- Terry laughs a little bashfully at the compliment. He's not sure 'cute' is a word he'd use to describe this look, but coming from Garnet he doesn't seem to mind it.]

[God he wants to touch her hair so bad. He won't. But he wants to.]

I got a taste testing challenge for my hero. What did you get?

Sounds like we're in the same challenge. [He shrugs] It's gonna be pretty easy for them. I'm no chef.

Heh, trust me, I know the feeling. I can boil noodles and hot water, and that's it.

[traumatizing]

Hey now, you made me that cupcake for my birthday.

[... Wait.]

It was awful, but you definitely made it.

And you ate it all.

[She's so sorry about that. Next time she'll just get you a gift certificate.]

[He laughs and smiles up at Garnet.] It's the thought that counts, right?

[She smiles back.]

So does not getting sick, but I'm glad you still have faith in me.

Well they've got doctors on hand if you make something really bad, but I'm sure it won't happen.

Here's to hoping. I'm not going to do anything fancy, after all.
