☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!

Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[ This Inkling likes to think she knows a thing or two about fashion, though her ideas about fashion are, of course, Inkling based. ]

While I like the color on the dress... the green and red look really fresh and heroic.

[ She turns to Robin. ]

You're supposed to be a hero, right? The dress looks more like a princess.

I couldn't agree more.

[Thank you. The hairdresser looks affronted, but one of the costumers and the makeup artist beam triumphantly, while the other costumer rolls her eyes and stalks off to find appropriate props.]

I hope you don't mind my calling you over here. Do you have a few minutes to spare? It'd be nice to have some company.

[And someone to maintain the odd number of opinions.]

Sure.

[ As long as she doesn't mind an Inkling's opinion, she's just waiting for her challenge to start filming. Agent 3 takes a seat on top of a crate and kicks her legs back and forth a little. ]

How long have they been arguing about the outfit?

[Robin checks the time, then responds, dryly.]

Two hours.

[People in show business, honestly. Robin sips at her coffee and frowns. It's cold, and almost gone. She'd tried to pace herself, but she hadn't foreseen this small scale catastrophe.]

How long did they argue about yours?

Not very long. After they agreed that I can keep wearing a hat, they said that I needed to have a cute, "roly polly" look... I don't know what that means though.

[ She knows about some insects, but others are lost to her. ]

You certainly do look like there's more armor than girl moving about.

[Robin grins.]

Is it very heavy?

[woomy]

Kinda... and I feel like I'm going to bump into things all the time.

[ She looks around to see if anyone is listening. ]

It's really weird because I can go through a lot of stuff.

[Robin nods in understanding. She'd seen a bit of what the Inkling can do not long before.]

It'd be hard to keep all those pieces in place. But didn't you have more of a gunslinger act? How odd they'd give you a medieval look.

[woomy]

Um, I threw a ball and said I had marksmanship, but I guess that doesn't transform into looking more like a shooter. I don't really understand a lot about this show.

[ She read a lot of fairy tales in the library between the audition and now, but there is still a lot that she doesn't understand. Like why is there a carpet hanging from the ceiling with rope? ]

Mm. It does seem a little strange, no? I suppose people love watching others in supposed peril.

[She'll just... not focus on that little slip up.]

Do you know who you'll be saving, when the time comes?

[woomy]

Someone named Finnick. I don't know who he is, but it sounds like he's a musician. Do you think he's one of ours?

[ "Ours" being one of the people they're here to rescue. There are far too many musicians for her to keep track of, and she hasn't made the connection that certain bands are made up entirely of the kidnapped people. ]
