☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[ Wearing a black and white modern ninja outfit, Ivan comes across Sora swinging his sword. It gives Ivan an itch to do the same. However, there's a small problem. ]

I wish there was a katana somewhere. It'd be fun to do a little play fighting while we wait for our turn.

[ And truthfully, Ivan wants the distraction more than anything. He wants to stop worrying for at least a little while about Angel's disappearance and the fact that she left behind a robotic finger.

Help him find one? ]

[Sora can't immediately tell what Ivan is supposed to be, if only because he's not familiar with modern ninjas. However, he can tell that Ivan looks cool in his outfit. The other boy speaks before he can say this though, and pings Sora's memory.]

Hey! I think I saw one when I was going through a box of prop weapons earlier!

[He sheaths his sword to go find it, expecting Ivan to follow. It doesn't take long to locate the box, since costume department people are occasionally still pulling things out of it. Sora waits until there's a lull in that to begin searching through it.]

[ The costuming department wouldn't mind too much if he borrowed it backstage, would they? He wouldn't take it out further than backstage, and he'll let them take some pictures. (Ninja can totally use katana.) Ivan follows Sora over to the box to help the search. Wow, there are a lot of different props in here. ]

What color was it?

Uhh, red. I think. Or black? Maybe there was more than one of 'em--

Here! [He's managed to dig out the one with the red hilt, anyway.]

[ Ivan takes the katana in his hand, and once his finger curl around the red hilt, he knows that this feels too light. But it's a prop, so of course it would.

But this is also a different feeling. Ivan knows how to wield a sword like this. He sees himself with two red hilt katana in his hands. He remembers. ]

Th-the other one. I-I think need to find a second katana.
