☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!

Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[ Oh it probably has been, he just doesn't know it yet. Squalo is still a bit angry about having to share his screentime with someone, but he supposes Dino isn't the worst possible company. ]

[ His own dressing up will probably take longer -- they have to braid all that hair, put flowers in it and so on -- but in the end he's clad in white and silver, and making his way to the other man. Well. This brings him back. To Venice, to be exact. ]

Hey, I'll be damned. Looks like we match.

Wow... We look great!

[He's looking Squalo up and down in a way some people might see as lascivious, but really is just appreciative of the degree to which they match. He's legitimately excited. Squalo isn't a half bad guy most of the time, and Dino would rather be close than distant.]

[ Yeah, despite their... weird previous meeting, he's feeling strangely comfortable around the guy. In fact, he's amused by how he seems to be ogling him (or his clothes, whatever). ]

[Dino will gently take that statement too seriously for a moment and look away with a little pink in his cheeks. It's been a weird several days, but they've crossed the bridge and things seem oddly calm. He's okay with that! He'd prefer not to argue, really.]

[ HE'S FREE TO though to be fair Squalo probably was talking about himself for the most part. Brainwashing can't stop this vanity etc etc. ]

[ He snorts at the flush and grins. ]

I know. Even if they tried real hard to turn me into a princess. So do you, actually. All that gold, you just need a tiny girly crown and you'd be all set.

[Let Dino have his special moment, alright? He's feeling good about himself for once!]

You know, someone else said it made me look a little... [COUGH.] Girly.

[ How cute, how temporary. But fine fine he'll let him have it. If only because he doesn't want to repeat his birthday scenario. ]

Really? [ He eyes him critically. ] I don't see it. They didn't even put flowers on you.

[alleato]

[Let him be happy, okay? He's still reeling from the birthday bash.]

I think I look kind of dashing, honestly.

[ Whoa you still remember that. What a giiiirl. ]

A bit, yeah. Not too much. Just a little. Enough so I don't mind being in the same camera frame as you.

[Dino is not a dickbucket, so yes, he remembers. He has actual feelings and emotions that are not YELLING.]

Better than nothing. Your hair's... very different. I'm glad they didn't make you cut it or anything.

[ He snorts. ]

Like hell I'd allow that. They'd be dead before they close the scissors.

[ ....well someone's really protective of his hair. ]

[AS EXPECTED. Dino's pleased.]

Not surprised. I like the cut they gave me, but any shorter and I'd be upset.

[ Whoa you know him so well. He gives Dino's hair a critical look. ]

Suits you, I guess.

[ GASP a compliment ]

[HOLD ON WHILE DINO STARES AND SMILES STUPIDLY.]

I think it's a more mature look.

[He shrugs.] I'll still look kind of lame next to you, but this is an improvement. They called me a "hobo".

[ Wow whoa don't cream your manpanties yet. 8U ]

It's too suave for you. But I guess it's fine for this whole ~prince~ schtick. [ Actually laughing. ] Not inaccurate. Don't be too hard on yourself, though. Everyone looks lame next to me.

[alleato]

I can be suave!

{Dino pls. Just laugh along.]

Look around, though. Everyone else looks kind of amateur compared to this, right?

No way. I'd pay to see that.

[ UH HUH MAYBE HE SHOULD PUT HIS MONEY WHERE HIS MOUTH'S AT. ]

[Dino shrugs, still grinning, and off they go.]
