☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!

Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[Well, Pao-Lin has a heaping plate full of food already, but she's not about to turn more down.]

Thanks! You did amazing today -- you're such a good singer!

[Pao-Lin can sing well enough, of course, although these days she doubts if it's actually her talent or just something the brainwashing gave her. Either way, even with the brainwashing, she thinks Minako definitely outstrips her.]

Ah, really? I was doing my best to keep up with Rei!

[She's always glowing when she talks about Rei, apparently.]

But so were you! It was pretty cool, right?

Yeah! But I was a little worried when I came in and they said I was gonna be a Hero instead of a Royal, since I don't think I would have been able to do the obstacle courses or anything like that. [And yet a part of her is wishing that she could have tried her hand at them. They seemed scary, but...they could have been fun.]

Yeah, those obstacle courses were pretty rough! My cousin sure had some trouble.

[She giggles. Minako probably could've done them, but...]

Singing's more fun, right?

She's Serena. She works at the Thistle Do Nicely flower shop? Their arrangements are really beautiful, if you know anyone who should be congratulated or comforted.

[The two girls did look a little alike now that Pao-Lin thought about it...]

She's always there to cheer people up! We don't know what we'd do without her---did she bring flowers from her shop?

Well, there were flowers [of course there were, it was an FoB event even if it was geared more towards the personal than the business side of things] but I don't know if they came from her. [Pao-Lin suddenly laughs.] Now I'm imagining Serena as a sunflower! Kind of a random thought, right?

[Get it? Because she's bright and sunny like...a sunflower....ha...]

[Minako imagines it, then has to laugh.]

Yeah! A lot of our fans like to claim a flower for themselves, now that I think about it. There was someone on Twitter recently who decided that their flower was gonna be the corpse flower.

[Fandom sure is a weird thing.]

Corpse flower?

[She shuddered. That was...not something she'd immediately associate with happiness.]

But it fits your theme, right? My favorite's chrysanthemum...I'll have to ask Serena if she has any.

I love all the colors, but my favorite's orange. It's so bright and full of life...and the fruit's tasty too!

Oh, yeah, oranges are super tasty! [Of course that's what Pao-Lin focuses on.] Have you ever had blood oranges?

...I think so? It was good...and it looked just like a favorite tree! Nice and juicy.

Right? But blood oranges kinda sound like they should be something out of a horror story.

[Or even just a really dark fairy tale.]

They're actually really tasty! Not dangerous unless...unless you really try to slice yourself when you open them, I guess. It's happened.
