Given what she heard her label boss doing - killing a person and teleporting - and the interrogation she went through, mild as it was, can she really be so shocked if that was the case?

But, it also made their situation more stark. They can't prove they did or didn't sign anything. So, they can't just walk out of the label. They wouldn't even begin to know how to, without it getting messy.]
