[The night before had been everything Rei could've hoped for. Taking Yosuke to bed on a holiday had been the right idea, she thought, and she wasn't disappointed. The connection between the two of them felt deeper than ever, and there was a kind of rightness to it that that left her head swimming pleasantly. Morning came quickly, all too quickly for her tastes, and eventually as the sun probed through the windows she had to concede defeat and roll over. Patting Yosuke's chest gently, the violinist kissed his lips lightly and untangled her arms and legs from his.]

About time to get up, I guess. C'mon, let's get coffee and order breakfast before a shower.

[Slipping out of the bed she drew on a bathrobe and teetered dreamily over towards the door to the main room, waiting for him to do the same. In her haze, she missed the smells and sounds of life coming from the suite's central chamber, unfortunately, so when Rei and Yosuke open the doorway...dawning comprehension and mild panic are the order of the day.

Flowers over Bones had decided to pay their eldest daughter a visit on her mental health retreat...aaaand she'd forgotten those plans the evening before. So now here they were. Rei and Yosuke, the two teenage lovebirds, mussed and disheveled, leaning on one another...in full view of the entire band.

[He looks down at himself. Embarrassing.]

R-Right... [He trots into the bedroom, says some words to Rei, before getting his clothes and washing up. He'll return a little more presentable than before.]

So...uh...I guess since everyone's here, we should get some breakfast, huh.

[By the time he's come out, Luce has settled in just like she's in her own home and not as though she stumbled upon two teenagers who'd been found out the day after.]

Oh, that sounds like a lovely idea. Would you mind ringing up room service? [Luce smiles apologetically.] If I'd known we'd have a guest, I would have cooked up something myself ahead of time.

I-I don't think you need to be apologizing to me for anything. Hold on a sec.

[He walks over to pick up the phone, rings room service to bring breakfast up for the fam before settling down next to Luce. It's now or never, he supposes.]

What a way to meet you guys, huh. It's sort of like I'm living out one of my worst nightmares. Except I'm still in one piece right now.

Well, we're not often violent sorts.

[Naomi's party being a very unique and shitty occasion that Luce has no desire to repeat.]

Honestly, the worst you'll get is some embarrassment and teasing.

You know, I always wondered what was up with that. Is that his stage name or something? Doctor?

What a good attitude to have when meeting a girl's band for the first time.

Oh, it's just a nickname, as far as I know. He's quite the smart cookie, you know.

No offense, but that's sort of a weird nickname to have. Not saying he's not smart or anything. Usually you call doctors by their last names, too.

[Maybe Flowers Over Bones was weirder than he originally thought. But he's only got the impression of them that the media has given him.]

You'll find out for yourself the more you talk with him. He's eccentric, but that's his draw for some people.

[He glances over to where Doctor is, a little carefully. He gets the feeling that he just really doesn't want to piss him off no matter what.]

I've asked Rei about this before, sorta, but...you guys consider yourselves a family, right? That doesn't weird you out or anything? [He's not always good at phrasing things.]

[Ready to have some of the tea Ivan's been preparing, Luce hums at the question. That was probably bound to come up sooner or later.]

As good as any other, I suppose. Why do you think that would be weird?

I don't know. Because it's not like any of you are actually blood related or anything. You're just in the same band together.

[He might not care much for his actual family, but he doesn't know how they feel on it.]

So do you automatically love the people you're blood related to?

[There's a teasing and inquisitive shine to Luce's eyes as she watches Yosuke over the rim of her cup.]

[The question makes him squirm a little bit, only because his programming has dictated otherwise.]

But like, you guys have only been a band for like four or five months, right?

[Excuse his foot-in-mouth syndrome.]

That is true...

But some people find themselves clicking so very much that it seems like a simple matter of things to progress to a point. Besides... [Reaching over, she flicks his nose playfully.] Who else to watch your back like a family does besides your band in this industry?

Ow! Hey! [His hand goes up to his nose, rubbing it.]

Okay, okay, you got a point there. Besides...nowadays, I think we all could really use someone to watch our back.

Yes... We're in quite unusual times.

But let's not worry about that on such a nice morning. [Rei got a hotel room to escape it for a little while, after all.]

[He's surprised she calls it nice, but he'll take it and not complain. A few short raps at the door are heard, and he pops up off of the couch to answer it.]

Oh! I bet that's breakfast! Hold on a second.

[He answers it, opens the door and lets the staff roll in several carts of catered food, and more than enough to feed the band and Yosuke. He thanks them, and sends them off so they could eat in peace.]

I hope the food is as good as the rest of this place. They went full out on it.
