What's a date between bandsisters?

Who: Pao-Lin and Rei of Flowers Over Bones.
What: Rei promised Pao-Lin yummy noms ages ago and now Pao-Lin is getting them.
When: Early on in January, after New Year's.
Where: Out in Vista City!
Warnings: Extreme cute. (No one saw that post misfire.)



[In honesty, Pao-Lin kept forgetting about the request she'd made of Rei during the award gala in the fall. If it wasn't strange basement experiences or itinerary detours happening, it was the typical rigors of promotion and performances cutting into free time or Angel insisting on confining Pao-Lin to house arrest at seemingly arbitrary intervals for seemingly arbitrary reasons. But the spirit of the season had softened Angel a bit, and she'd finally relented to let Rei take Pao-Lin out for a night on the town not long after the new year rolled out.

Clad in a pretty new dress Luce had bought her for the solstice, Pao-Lin opted to see a movie first before going out for food. Of course, being Pao-Lin, she’d indulged in popcorn and soda at the theater regardless, and she’s still hungry as ever in the car on the way to Siena’s Palace.]

Ahh, I can’t wait to try the veal tenderloin!

[After the incident with the hotel and Yosuke, Rei had been even more eager to spend time with her younger sis, just to make up for pretty much stealing away a date and when she'd been given the chance she'd jumped on it. Best not to bring up that incident though, since hopefully Pao-Lin had forgotten it. Or was too squicked by the idea to bring it up.

Driving carefully, Rei shifted the car into the right lane and laughed slightly Her own choice of attire was pretty different but fit with her style better. Not that Pao-Lin looked anything less than adorable...]

I imagine not. That sounds really good, in fact. I do hope you'll save a bite for me.

Aww, really? After the movie we just saw?

[It was a cute little animated flick with talking animals where the damsel-in-distress was a duck princess. She'd only gotten a handful of screentime but Pao-Lin had liked her a lot.]

[Clearly Pao-Lin forgot about Glinda the Good Witch. Either way, though, that tabloid was dumb.]

Uhh...I dunno. [She taps a finger to her lips.] Witches have cats, but what do sorceresses have?

Sisters, obviously.

Really? [She doesn't remember hearing any stories about sorceresses with sisters. Usually sorceresses are just kinda...there.]

Really. Haven't you heard of Morgan le Fay, and her sister Elaine? She even had a brother.

Oh! I've heard of Morgan le Fay. [Sort of.] I just didn't know she had any siblings...
