005 ✽ We be all night
Who: The willing from Pride and Virgo
What: Want to know what party sucked? The solstice party. Want to know what party won't suck? Luci and Luce's.
When: Jan 8th
Where: The basement of the club Blue Heist
Warnings: None planned besides possible/probably intoxication

A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?
Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.
Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.
Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.
And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.
Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

Nia, I'm gonna come in, all right?

She'd nod but he wouldn't see. So instead she opens the door, standing enough to the side that she's still kinda hidden.]
no subject
All right. Tell me what happened. Are you okay?
no subject
[Nia takes a moment before she looks at him.] C-contacts won't work. [Not when her pupils are pink. And the way they're shaped...]
Ankh said to pretend I did it myself, but how could anybody do this?! What's going to happen when my manager sees, or one of the security people?! [What's Blanche going to do?]
no subject
[ He's momentarily stunned by the sight of them. It's a unique look, he sure can't pretend otherwise. More important to Greg, though, is Nia's obvious panic. He rests a hand on her shoulder. ]
Hey. It's all right. One thing at a time, okay? I've got some sunglasses you can use for a start, and we can figure it out from there.

What... what should I do after that?

I don't want Mr. Blanche to be angry.

All right. Then... come right out with it. [ He tries a grin, as if this idea isn't risky as heck. ] L-like I said, we're all about wacky fashions, right?
no subject
[SHE DOESN'T TRUST THIS IDEA SHE IS TERRIFIED SHE'S NOT A GREAT LIAR.]
no subject
[ Normally this would be the type of "be true to yourself" heartwarming inspiring advice. In this case, either option is equally risky, and he wouldn't even be able to guess which is scarier. ]
no subject
[Which means there's only one option for her, doesn't it?]
no subject
[He gently squeezes her shoulder, and gives her as reassuring a smile as he can.]
You're Nia, lead guitar for Surviving Friday. You're loud and you're proud and you're going to have your eyes look however you want.
[Fake it 'til you make it, on a whole new level.]

[ He wishes he could promise her it will work out. ]
For what it's worth... they're real pretty.

Thank you.

You still want me to fetch you some shades? Maybe good to save them for the right moment.

I got the goods.

Thank you...

Looking great. Let me know if you need anything else, yeah?
