A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

"I'll be right back then!" Doctor disappears past the the crowd of dancers and rings of socializing artists though the top of his head can occasionally be seen bouncing over the tops of shorter people's. A while later he comes back, gliding across the floor around other guests carefully making a point to avoid spilling what he returns with.

A sparkling grape juice in one of the bar's glasses is set in front of her. Doctor slides into the seat across from her with his matching drink. He reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out a couple of straws, one of which he starts unwrapping immediately for his own drink. The other he sets in the middle of the table as an offering. All the while he talks.

"I'd like it if Luce and Luci were in charge of all the parties from here on out. -And not just because they have a better guest list. This club is fantastic!"

And Rei sits patiently, watching him with a little look of amusement. He had so much energy, and it was really just endearing to see him bopping along like a battery commercial rabbit. And he's...actually surprisingly graceful too, avoiding all those dancers.

Reaching out to the center table and taking the straw while he jabbers, Rei nods and unwraps her own, taking a sip. Straws, a good idea. For paranoid reasons. But nothing about this drink rings as wrong in her head.

"I think that'd be nice too. Ms. Woods and Anansi didn't exactly do anything nice, and Yosuke's bandmate...that was a bit too loud for me. Did you go to that one?"

"No no. I stayed home." He shakes his head and stares into his drink, lowering his voice. "I hate to say it but I was under the impression that party might be more of the frat house sort with illegal substances getting passed around and all that. -Not that I think Yosuke is into any of that."

[faithfulflame]

"You're not wrong. On any count. Maxxie seems like a mess. And Yosuke doesn't do that. Just drinks, sometimes, like me. Honestly we spent most of that night together"

She would not date a druggie or even a smoker.

"You didn't miss anything"

[trustme]

Doctor slowly shakes his head. "A real shame, a growing young man doing that to his body. I hope Maxxie will be all right. Flashstep wouldn't be the same without all their members."

Doctor listens to their songs sometimes. He can also pick out each member's voice with those musically inclined ears of his. One less voice would sound very different to him.

[faithfulflame]

"IT is, but it's his choice," Rei nods. She disagrees with it, but it's not her place to tell a stranger how to live his life.

"Anyway. This is much nicer. Much...less noisy."

[trustme]

Doctor nods. "You know how much I like to drown in music but it isn't very nice not to allow guests the ability to converse." He takes a long sip of his drink and smiles to himself.

We happen to have a way around that but it's nice to be able to hear myself practice the next day. He jokes in his telepathic message. Have you discovered any new super-power abilities as of late?

[faithfulflame]

"True enough," Rei says, smirking a little around the lip of her voice.

Actually...yes. I'm...not really sure how to describe it, but I definitely feel stronger. Like, inhumanly so.

[trustme]

Stronger... Lifting weights stronger?

In Doctor's case that isn't often the type of strong he speaks about, so he asks just to be sure.

I'm pretty sure I could lift the couch and throw it.

So, yes. That kind.

[trustme]

Well. That's really something! If we didn't have housekeeping I'd say it will make vacuuming under the furniture much easier.

I haven't noticed any changes to my abilities. I have seen more visions however. I went into that police box in one of them. However it didn't make sense what came after that.

[faithfulflame]

What do you mean? What doesn't make sense?

[trustme]

You know how a police box is supposed to be. Same sort of size as a phone booth.

When I went through the doors I was in an entire room- a large one at least as big as our penthouse living room.

[faithfulflame]

Seriously! Was it underground or something? How can it be bigger on the inside?

[trustme]

When you stepped inside the only stairs in sight went up. Not down. I would say there must be mirrors involved like a magic trick but I ran all around that room and the police box itself was not on a stage or any place nice for a magic show. I was being shot at while I was outside of the box by a troop of soldiers with laser guns.

[faithfulflame]

Laser guns? Soldiers? Any ideas on why? That seems a bit much.

[trustme]

Yes. My visions become more like a sci-fi movie every time don't they? Whatever I did I must have made them very angry. Maybe I pulled a lever or pushed a button on their space ship or nosed around their secret base on their alien planet. If I'm lucky I'll see more of the vision and be able to tell you proper what that was all about.

Between the two of us we should write songs about the stars.

Maybe we should. That seems like as good a topic as any.

Lightyear. Dimensions. Supernova. Shiny! Shining Bright Like a Diamond.

Writing the lyrics first might be better on second thought.

Perhaps so, yes. I like the idea of it, certainly.

Maybe we can make it a pair of songs that connect?

Connecting tracks! Oh you're spoiling me now! I think we have to ask Mother before I get permission to do something like that.

[ Doctor forgets he was just speaking with her telepathically and throws his arms up in victory with his little shout. He immediately starts looking around the room for signs of Luce. Approval from the eldest daughter was very close to approval from Luce herself, and worth the excitement in his book. ]
