005 ✽ We be all night

Who: The willing from Pride and Virgo
What: Want to know what party sucked? The solstice party. Want to know what party won't suck? Luci and Luce's.
When: Jan 8th
Where: The basement of the club Blue Heist
Warnings: None planned besides possible/probably intoxication

A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

"I missed out on it since a couple crazies decided to grab our ride and made us watch The Fox and The Hound twice."

He was a little relieved about that after hearing of the things that went on. Surely if he had been there and his desire senses were working, he would have been doing his best to goad people on and that was not something he ever wanted to do.

At least until after he figured out why his instincts kept on telling him that he needed to make desires bloom, and not force them down again.

Tilting his head to the side as she took a seat, he raised his right hand, the palm facing her almost as if the eye was trying to see her before he reached over to pick up his own mug filled with ice cream and violently red pop.

"So what's your thoughts on this mess?"

The eye was... okay, it was a decently creepy maneuver. She gave it a look as he turned it up to her, then her gaze drifted away as he reached for his mug. Her gaze settled briefly on one of the numerous bodyguards drifting around.

"It doesn't make any sense if you ask me. I get our labels are in competition but trying to kill each other is a little much."

His hand has been acting a bit odd like that lately, but he just was putting it down as stress and a need to make things flashy. He still wasn't sure why he got the eye tattoo only that it fitted and the idea of not having it bothered him at some strange level.

"It makes me wonder what else is going on the higher rankings. It doesn't feel as random as some people want to make us believe, if that makes sense."

The guards weren't too close but they will soon drift close like they had been doing off and on. He was hoping to get to talk a bit more with other people but for now, he only managed to be honest with his bandmates, Luci, Luce, and Yan.

His words seemed to make Mai stiffen up some. Or rather sit up at attention without actually moving all that much. She was loathe to change her body language much with the bodyguards drifting around as they were.

She took the chance to leave in. She figured the bodyguards would be less likely to be too nosey if it were just one somewhat drunk musician half flirting with another.

"It's kind of hard to imagine. Not that there isn't drama between the labels usually anyhow but it seems... out there to think they had a lot to do with this."

And yet even as she said that, it felt wrong. It felt just as wrong as it always did, gnawing a little at the corner of her mind. It was so damn frustrating.
connivingbird: (i dont know)

Ankh doesn't do flirting that much, so she may get a kind of strange look from him as she leaned in. Like what is this person doing why are they who thinks that and other kind of expressions. He just doesn't get it even if he is good with trolling people along with Luci.

"Does it? It's weird to think people are just doing things on their own though. I mean, I wasn't there and I can be completely wrong."
maipokerface: (of almost everything)

[personal profile] maipokerface 2016-01-18 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Oh whatever, lighten up. She fights the urge to slap him on the shoulder for that look he's giving her. They're not that friendly.

"Both options are pretty weird honestly."
connivingbird: (dunno what)

"Then do you have a theory?"

After the first minute or two, he sighs and slumps a little, leaning slightly towards her. He still seems a little awkward about it, but it takes a lot more ice cream talk to get him relaxed. Besides, he wasn't too sure what to expect right now. This party was created to be a way to calm people down.
maipokerface: (we had even seen the start)

[personal profile] maipokerface 2016-01-18 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"Not really. All I know is if the people doing the attacking last party claim they don't know why they did it then something had to make them, right?"
connivingbird: (blah blah blah)

[personal profile] connivingbird 2016-01-19 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"I was told by someone affected that night that it felt like the best idea ever. She doesn't know why she did and she's worried that it means that she is a bad person for even succumbing to it."

Poor Nia. He hoped that talking her into trying this party out would at least help her get over that night, but he had a feeling that she was going to be hiding in his blanket pile for a long while to come.
maipokerface: (well what's the problem?)

[personal profile] maipokerface 2016-01-20 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
"So what happened to make them then."

There's the real question, right? Because if they the affected people just suddenly decided it was a fantastic idea, something had to make them. Whether it was in the people themselves or outside of them, the possibilities were somewhat finite.
