005 ✽ We be all night

Who: The willing from Pride and Virgo
What: Want to know what party sucked? The solstice party. Want to know what party won't suck? Luci and Luce's.
When: Jan 8th
Where: The basement of the club Blue Heist
Warnings: None planned besides possible/probably intoxication

A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

There are light-up motorbikes in it, it can't be all bad. Greg straightens up a little, so he can more easily see if she decides to type in anything else.

"That's why they call it a party. I'm just glad they've got options at this one."

Certainly makes me feel less guilty about sneaking away.

She's been to baaaaad parties where she's had to do that.

It's difficult to imagine worse parties than some of their more recent ones, and Greg's doing his best not to. He just laughs a little.

"What good're the holidays if you don't get to laze around when you want to?"

WELL that wasn't a bad party per se. That was a whole new level of horror.

Especially in our line of work.

He can't help but sink deeper into his chair. "No kidding. Who knows if we'll ever get another minute to catch our breath, after this?" He shoots her a tired grin. "Don't get me wrong, I'm living the dream. It just makes you appreciate the in-between."

You can say that again. I could use a break every now and then.

He chuckles. "I'm guessing your band doesn't give you a whole lot of breaks even when you guys aren't working." Sans and Bill are pals of his, so he thinks he's got a good idea of how much a pain they'd be to work with.

It can be a challenge. Especially those two.

At least they step up to the plate when needed. Most of the time.

"I guess that's all you can hope for with a team." He spares a glance for the door. "At least you're not the only one on babysitting duty anymore."
