A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

Still blushing, but trying to be cool about the whole thing, Molly begins opening her present right there. Inside, she finds the cute little gloves, decorated with pretty flowers and lace, and she wants to hug Luce. ...Would that be okay? One time Molly hugged Kido and the poor girl had stiffened up... so Molly tries to keep herself from just glomping people.

"They're gorgeous," she coos, taking one out to look at it. She will put them on as soon as she can find a place for the box. Then she looks up at Luce again, smiling brightly. "Thank you! I love them!"

Waiting patiently, Luce leans back in relief at the positive reception. "I'm glad you like them! I wasn't sure what sort of things were your style... I had to go on intuition." Another giggle is hidden in her hand.

"It looks like I was lucky."

Cute girly clothes are definitely all right in Molly's book. She stares at the gloves a bit longer before closing up the box. Her smile fades a little.

"Though... I don't have anything for you."

"I didn't get a gift for you expecting anything back, you know." Still, she's aware that kind of explanation probably won't satisfy the other girl, so Luce gives a small chuckle.

"But... My birthday is in March, if you really insist on returning the favor sometime."

That instantly brings a smile back to Molly's face, and she nods. March wasn't too far away, but that gave her enough time to look for something.

"What sort of things do you like?" Not only is she asking for the presents, but she would like to learn more about Luce in general.

"What I like? Hmm...." She presses the tips of her fingers together, head tilting as she considers the question. Before, she thinks the answers would have come easier to her. With everything that's been happening... Well, she's curious about herself. A strange experience to be sure.

"I usually like cooking quite often, and, really, I actually don't mind the flower motif that the band revolves about. But you know... I've been thinking of branching out my interests a little."

Cooking! How neat! Molly has done a little bit of cooking, but she can't make too many things. It's something she's learning.

But she is more curious about what Luce says next, and she tilts her head while watching her, like a little bird. "Oh, yeah? Are you thinking about a solo album, or something?" Which would be neat, and Molly would support that. She, herself, wants to branch out and do more.

"Oh, no no no!" Laughing, Luce waves the idea off. "I'll be staying with Flowers Over Bones for a good long while, or so I hope." With all the recent firings that have gone on, it's admittedly something she worries about sometimes... Especially with how suspicious everything is.

But that's for later.

"I meant on a more personal level. For example... Looking into science, maybe, or learning how to drive a motorcycle."

"Oh! I see," Molly nods again, understanding, and twirls a piece of her hair around her finger. "I think it would be fun to learn how to ride a motorcycle."

"Just good luck convincing my manager to let me take some time for lessons." Luce laughs a little, even as the thought bristles in the back of her mind. "It doesn't quite fit my image."

"But can't your image be changed?" she asks, musing. "I mean, not just yours, but anybody's? That's how people grow."

"If I was a solo artist, yes, I could probably do it easily. Unfortunately, my image and the band's image are quite tightly intertwined." Her shoulders rise up in a shrug. "I don't mind the 'sweet band mother' image, but it can be a bit restricting in some places."

"I can imagine it would be." Molly sighs, looking a little displeased for a moment. Not at Luce, but at the idea that artists shouldn't change. What if she wanted to change? It wasn't fair. "Do you think we'll always be stuck in our roles?"

"Well, certainly not you." Luce gives a grin, encouragement lacing throughout her words. "You're still young and getting to experience all sorts of new things. People will actually expect your image to change sooner or later!"

Oh. That sounded hopeful. Better than what Molly was thinking, at least. She seems to understand, but still feels bad for the other woman. It sounded as though Luce was stuck, for a while.

She considers what to say to that for a moment, fingers tracing the corner of the box she is still holding. She wants all of her friends to be happy. For some reason, that is very important to her. Finally, she looks up at Luce again. "Well, when you do learn how to ride that motorcycle, you'll show me, right?"

Such an optimistic insistence draws out another bright laugh from Luce, and her eyes are shining when she looks down to Molly again. "I'll absolutely show you." She gives a wink. "I already have a leather jacket, as a matter of fact."

Whoa, cool! Molly looks enthralled by the idea. She, too, saw Luce FoB's mother-figure, so it's all the more interesting to hear that she wants to rebel a bit. She chuckles too, bringing her hand up to her lips delicately. "I can't wait to see that..."

In the distance, she hears one of her bandmates walking by, and she turns her head to see what they're doing. Then her attention is back on Luce again. "I think we're getting ready to leave now, so I should go find my coat."

"Oh, of course." It is getting to be that late, isn't it? Parties can only go on for so long. At least it seems like this one has gone by without event. Reaching over, she smooths back Molly's hair with a smile.

"Get home safely, alright?"

Thank goodness there was no killing at this party. Actually, Molly has been enjoying this one, if only because she got to have a nice talk with Luce. When the older woman smooths out her hair, she flushes a bit from embarrassment, but she is still smiling.

"I promise!" She holds the box close again. "You too. And thank you, again!"
