A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

It's at this point that Mai decides for better or worse, she likes this guy. He's just goofy enough to go along with her words without being too cheerfully annoying so far. It reminds her of the Ty Lee character she's been conjuring up in her dreams as of late.

"Casting hexes, stealing souls. Brewing up a potion here and there."

[panspermia]

"All in a day's work for the Thorny Court's royal sorcerer." His grin is practically plastered on. "You definitely oughta pitch that for your next shoot or something, you'd kill it."

[maipokerface]

"If An would like it anyhow. She's a little bit of a tyrant when it comes to image." To say the least. An's more in it for the clothes than anything.

[panspermia]

"Yeah? Seems like something that'd fit your guys' look pretty well to me. But... I'm not much of a fashion guy." Since becoming rich, Greg's wardrobe has gone from "genuinely shabby" to "pre-ripped."

[maipokerface]

"Me either." Mai's all about dark colors and and such. She's vaguely punkish, vaguely gothic and vaguely concerned with what fits her own tastes and no one elses.

"Her tastes are a little... eclectic sometimes. I mean it's mostly goth stuff for obvious reasons but she's got this interest in Victorian wear..."

They're more of a neoclassical band so it's to be expected she would go for that style. Corsets are a pain.

"Doesn't that go with witchy stuff pretty well? I bet if you put together a good pitch, you could trick her into it."

He takes a second to note Mai's languid posture.

"Or is that more trouble than it's worth?"

[maipokerface]

"Not really. An's got her own ideas but I could probably pitch it to her." Not that she'll put a lot of effort into pitching it, as her languid posture suggests. The idea does bring a grin to her face.

"I think it sounds pretty entertaining actually. We'll make Artolo dress up like a cat."

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Greg snorts.

"For all I know, he'd be up for that. So long as you don't mention me in it, he's got enough of a grudge already."

[maipokerface]

"What, against you?" Not that she's shocked since... well, it's Artolo. The bastard gave her hot pepper spice for her popcorn on their first big gig.

"Well. My manager sort of wailed on him once. I think it left a bad taste in his mouth." Because she shoved his phone down his throat. "Or maybe he was like that already, I dunno him too well."

[maipokerface]

"You mean an ass? Yeah, he's always been like that."

[panspermia]

Cough. "Well, that's a relief. Maybe he'll get a good kick out of being a warlock."

[maipokerface]

"I'd say he'd get a kick out of anything that may bug An somehow. Or that he can be a complete troll in, one of those. Artolo's not that hard to figure out." She likes her bandmates, honest.

[panspermia]

He clicks his fingers, grin redoubled. "Slap some horns and fangs on him, paint him like a rock. He'd make a great troll."

Pfff. "I like you. You have good ideas."
