A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

"Pride, huh. Who are you dating exactly?"

She's flipping through the various men in Pride. Not that she knows any of them well beyond Artolo and Tooru. And god help the woman if she's dating one of those assholes.

You know, from the pop band...

"The guy from Flashstep?"

She rolls that around in her mind. They had only talked very, very briefly at that ill-fated party. He didn't seem like a bad guy though.

"So you like him pretty well?"

"That's right."

She nods, letting that sink in. He was a bit of a dork at times, but she liked him. Well, more than liked.

"And yeah. More than pretty well. We've been seeing one another for a few months now, in secret. But I figure that the labels have to be aware, and haven't stepped in yet, so...it must be alright."

"Ah, a secret affair. Sounds like a Romeo and Juliet setup to me."

"I'm not sure it'll go far enough to reach secret weddings and death. We've just been having a nice time together, especially with these holidays."

"That's good enough too then. If you have a good time with him and like him, that's all that really matters in the end. The label bullshit can screw off."

"Oh definitely," Rei nods cheerily. "I'm glad to hear you say that. I was admittedly a little worried about, well...how everything would go over after that party. But...it seems like nobody is going to give us a hard time."

Mai has a very cut and dry estimation of intelligence.

"And isn't it idiots that make our lives more difficult?"

She does agree.

"Better believe it. Then and the paparazzi."

"Fuck. The paparazzi."

"I figured you'd understand." Given how much Rei seemed to hate them and all.

"Yeah. Lowest common denominator. Anyway. How's things? No trouble? tonight, I hope."

"Not really. Just a lot of bodyguards and people trying to mingle mostly. Nothing on your end either?"

"Nothing at all," ~~Nothing at all, nothing at all~~. "If anything it's been a quiet night. I'm really glad for that to be honest."

"So am I. It does make you a little suspicious though, right?"

She's not really fishing for an answer here. Well, not strongly anyhow.

"No, not really. I mean, my bandmate set it up. She's not...you know...crazy."

She's dating someone in Pride anyway.

"That's a relief then." Rei seemed smart enough with her own bandmates anyhow.

"I guess the worst thing we'll have to deal with is tabloids about this. Hopefully that...Carpenter guy isn't snooping around."

"I'm going to punch that man if I ever see him."

"I'll hold him down for you. Though, why you specifically?"

Mai are you secretly a witch?

Mai waves a hand, rolling her eyes.

"My guess is I don't do anything exciting enough like Tamara and Artolo that people can report on. My love life is pretty much the driest thing anyone could imagine and I don't collect cats like a rabid hairball-loving fiend."

"Well, I guess so. But..."

She's about to go on when she suddenly stops, hand clutching at her head as she sees a...cat...there in her mind's eye. Not just any cat. A black cat, with a golden crescent on it' head. And it seems to be talking...though the words won't come. Just one thing...

"...Luna...?"

"... Luna?"

That's a weird aside. She looks askance at Rei, watching her grip her head a moment. "You alright?"
