005 ✽ We be all night
Who: The willing from Pride and Virgo
What: Want to know what party sucked? The solstice party. Want to know what party won't suck? Luci and Luce's.
When: Jan 8th
Where: The basement of the club Blue Heist
Warnings: None planned besides possible/probably intoxication

A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?
Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.
Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.
Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.
And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.
Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

Luci likes dancing, but partner dancing isn't something she gets to do very often-- one of the primary thrusts of throwing a dance like this one. She's always appreciated partners who could tango well with each other, but for the most part all of her partners had never known what to do with her. As Xanxus trails his hand firmly down her back, Luci knows she's done a good thing trying this with him. She can't even think of a snappy answer to him before they're moving.
And G-O-D can he move. Luci doesn't have trouble keeping up, Xanxus keeps her close and leads well. She doesn't even have to think about what to do to make it look spicy, she feels it immediately. She doesn't have to force herself to flourish with her legs just to not die of boredom.
"Fuck," she breathes as he leans her back. Luci doesn't even try to assist, she lets Xanxus have all of her weight as she arches her back all the way until she's almost totally limp-- she trusts him.
no subject
"Not just yet." He purrs at her, sweeping her down and around a moment. It's just one arm holding her, one powerful arm. His other hand slides to her thigh to assist her leg to his hip. With both in place, he can pull her back up. It's a slow accent, sweeping her upwards, sliding his hand higher and higher on her outer thigh as he does before he has her righted and he can slide his way around her, the ghost of a fingertip dragging over her as he sinuously slides behind her for the next spin.
no subject
"Promise?" she asks as he straightens them up and he slides around her. That fingertip just barely touching her is a white-hot connection she can't possibly miss-- she's focused so intently on him and him continuing to guide and touch her. Luci spins on command, but when she comes out of it, she's immediately resuming the position. There's hardly any daylight between them now, too.
"So where'd you learn to dance like this? Nowhere decent, I hope." She grins as Xanxus leans them back, Luci leaning forward over him and almost coming off her feet completely.

He laughs as well, wondering rather the same thing. "I learned when I was young. For society functions. Believe it or not, once upon a time I was a spoiled little rich boy and had to learn all sorts of bullshit to make the family look good. Like waltzing. I got so bored with it and my oldest brother noticed it so he got me a dance instructor for the Tango. She came to the castle every Friday." Another laugh and leans close to whisper into her ear. "The wonders of the things you have to learn when your Mafia..."
....where the hell had that come from? But it's just there and everything makes sense suddenly. Why he remembers killing and why he had those lessons and everything else.
no subject
"I knew your family was fancy, but damn, that's a truth-bomb," she says with a laugh that indicates she's trying to recover from this reveal. Not to mention she's relying on Xanxus for the next few steps to make sure she doesn't trip over herself.

He easily takes over for herm, covering for her small fumble, making it look like that to is part of their dance. Making her seem teasing instead of shocked into missing a step or two. "I know. I know, Luci. But it's hard to explain. At least here. But I wanted to tell you. I wanted at least you to know." Why, he didn't know. Maybe because he hoped that this woman would still be okay with him knowing that once, he had been involved in Organized Crime.
no subject
"Okay," she says, stepping lightly with him and flourishing her heels a few times while she thinks. "I mean, I suppose it makes sense. The Italian, the terrifying demeanor, your penchant for rings..." Alright, maybe she's being a little flippant.
"So if I ever 'need anything', can I call your cousin Vinny?" She grins, leaning back in his arms again.
no subject
He tangles his feet in and around hers hips moving, preparing to do a sultry drag. "Nah. If you ever need anyone, I won't refer you to a lieutenant. You need something, you go straight to the Boss. Skip all the pissant lowlifes and go straight to the Godfather of Godfathers himself." Well, not yet anyway. It's what he's supposed to be though... he thinks...
"I'll even learn how to mix cement for you and let you pick the lakes you want me to use."
no subject
It did beg the question what Xanxus was doing playing bass in a highly visible band but, well, it probably had things in common with Luci being able to set her hands on fire.
no subject
"But you have to promise me. Promise you won't tell Yuffie or anyone else. They can't know. I don't want my family looking at me wierd because of that." Mostly, he doesn't want the people important to him to dismiss him. He likes them all too much to want what he is to chase them off, even if it should.
no subject
"Deal," she agrees, draping one of her arms down within centimeters of the floor, just to feel how close she was to it while knowing she'd never touch it. If Xanxus can hold her up against a wall with no issue, he can hold her here. After a moment, she hooks her knee up onto his hip and slides herself up against his chest so he can lift her up and keep her close.
"But I don't think she'd think anything different than I do. If you ever decide to tell her."
no subject
"I'm glad of that. I really like this. I like it a lot better than being any Boss. If I quit, if I went home...I wouldn't get to dance with you anymore." He returns to their upright position, sliding a hand up her thigh, preparing to spin her out.
no subject
"I'll dance with you whenever, wherever. That's a promise."
Somehow that feels like the right thing to say. She can't imagine saying goodbye to Xanxus, job or not, mafia or not.
