A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

"Time for Lesson 2, then," Luci says, amused by Sora's enthusiasm. Yeah, these Flashstep boys probably ate, slept, and breathed pop-and-lock and whatever else they did. Which is fair, that's what they were known for.

"Swing. Just stay upright, I'll do the rest."

So essentially, Luci is going to throw Sora around a dancefloor for three minutes. Godspeed, Sora.

'Stay upright' she says. Well, okay then. Sora tries. And manages pretty well for those three minutes. Even if the dancing is different than what he's used to, he's still fairly quick on his feet, so that helps. And it's definitely still high-energy, a little bit of familiar territory, though in a different way. He's surprised by a lot of it, but his enthusiasm to keep up with her doesn't wane.

He has fun, actually, and is laughing by the time it's over with. "That was something! Is the room kinda still spinning for you? 'Cause it's spinning for me."

"Not for me, but if you can't stand up straight, my work here is done," Luci grins and wraps her arm around Sora's waist to keep him from falling over. She's feeling energized andd touchy-feely after a good dance. She's not dizzy, but she sounds just a little winded from not stopping once. "Come on, drink time."

"I'll say!" He responds with a laugh in regards to her work being done. He's grateful she's helping keep him on his feet, though, especially if they're gonna be walking somewhere.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Sora's gonna let her lead the way for that, too. "Soda for me though, I kinda indulged too much drinking at the last party." It's admitted with something of a sheepish grin.

"Oh you mean at New Year's?"

Here she goes...

"Surely that wasn't the reason you were locking lips with dear Jamie, was it?"

Wow, don't even bother easing him into the conversation. Just throw it out there. Okay, sure. At least Luci's still got a hold on him, otherwise quite frankly he probably would have tripped over his own feet and landed flat on his face. As it is, he stands in place and turns a nice shade of red as he looks up at his former dancing partner.

"Uh... No, I don't-- Wait, did he tell you that? Am I allowed to-- Maybe I should text him--" Yes, he's actually going to dig for his phone. He doesn't want to end up saying something Jamie doesn't want him to (despite the fact that they were so not discrete at all New Year's Eve), so it would be better to ask Jamie first since he knows Luci better.

Luci, paragon of tact and sympathy, laughs at Sora's blushing and stammering.

"You weren't exactly subtle, and I was at Maxxie's New Year's party," Luci reminds him. She pushes his phone back into his pocket with a finger. "Relax, Sora. I'm not going to give you guys a hard time. I think you're good together."

Looking thoroughly embarrassed that they'd been caught, yet relieved that Luci is merely finding amusement in it rather than threatening to go tell other people, Sora lets out a quiet sigh and stops trying to use his phone like a lifeline. Still, he'd definitely be telling Jamie about this later.

Especially now that Luci's just said she thinks they're good together. This causes a blush for a different reason, less out of embarrassment and more because he's touched. That was nice to hear from someone. Like, really nice. "Yeah? Really?"

"Yeah, really," Luci chuckles and ruffles Sora's hair teasingly. "You're both the human embodiment of cotton candy. It's almost too perfect."

"I don't think I've ever been called that before." Sora laughs, partially from relief and partially from amusement. There's still lingering embarrassment, but mostly he's just happy. "But... Thanks. It feels really great to hear that."

"What, you haven't told the rest of your band?" This strikes her as odd, and she raises an eyebrow and frowns. "Or did you and they got all bizarre about it?"

"No, we haven't told yet," he answers, sheepishly. "Our plan is just to kinda... Wait until people notice, I guess? We are a little worried about Yosuke, though... Everyone else will probably be cool about it, but still. It's my first relationship, and it's Jamie. So I..." He pauses, bringing a hand up to place over his chest where his heart is before he continues, resolute: "I wanna protect it. As much as I wanna protect Jamie."

Luci stares down at Sora.

"I think all my teeth just fell out.

"Look, Sora. You can't just wait. It'd be one thing if Jamie wasn't in your band, but you all work and live together. Sneaking around is going to make it look like just what it is-- sneaking around."

Sora seriously considers what she's said, pondering silently for a moment with arms crossed over his chest. But, ultimately, he knows his friends, and doesn't feel worried about it. He shakes his head a little and smiles again.

"They'll understand when they find out or we tell them, and it's not like we're even gonna hide anything, not at home. Besides, a relationship is about the people who are in it, so what matters most is what we're comfortable with. And I'm not gonna do anything that Jamie doesn't feel ready to do. Our friends care about us, so they'll understand that."

Yeah, all of that sounded pretty okay in theory, but in practice? People got weird when band members started dating each other. Screwing was one thing, but this sounded like dating for sure. Hand holding and sharing food and friends getting involved...

"Well, you probably know them better, but if it were me? I'd rather a sit down chat instead of waking up to Fetch and Yuffie playing doctor in the kitchen. Just saying."

Sora nods, though the "playing doctor" thing gets a bit of a startled look from him. Not as bad as Luce advising him to carry condoms around, though.

"Yeah, that's fair. I'll definitely talk more to Jamie about telling them, anyway. Thanks for the advice and for being concerned about us." He smiles. He means it.

Even with what he'd said about his friends not minding, he's still taking the points she brought up to heart, and will be thinking about them.
