Who: As many people in Virgo HQ as Luce can grab
What: The best way to get to know new people is over breakfast, didn't you know?
When: A nice cheery morning a vague time in January after everyone's newbies have met their band
Where: The Flower Over Bones penthouse
Warnings: None planned! Feel free to treat this as a mingle log

The first month Luce arrived at Virgo HQ, she didn't waste any time before establishing some sort of lunch everyone could get together at. As January drags on, it's something she finds herself thinking about as new faces fill up the gaps where she had known others.

It's part of the reasons why, one early morning, she can be found bustling to all the other band penthouses to deliver a simple invitation she makes sure everyone gets to hear: a breakfast taking place in the FoB house for all Virgo musicians.

FoB penthouse looks like a lot of the other bands, with some clutter here and there that fits its inhabitants including a small dartboard with various articles about the members pinned there with shuriken. The television is playing what seems to be an early day sci-fi movie marathon and there's already a pretty impressive spread of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and various cut up fruit for people to dig into.

"Maybe you have faulty taste buds?" Ryouta teased and looked down at the offered food.

With some trepidation he took a small piece of the syrup and hot sauce pancake.

He put it in his mouth and nearly recoiled. Still he dutifully chewed it and swallowed. Then drank half of his glass of milk in one go.

"Wait--!!" But it's too late; Kise's already taken a bite despite Kaoru's raised hand and wide eyes. He presses that hand to his mouth, setting down his plate, then offers him a napkin, laughing despite himself. "I didn't think you'd actually try some! I'm so sorry, I have the weirdest tastes. Are you okay?"

Honestly Kaoru, Kise's a seventeen year old boy with a competitive streak, if you knew that you know he wouldn't turn down trying any type of food.

Though, as his favorite dish involves onions, cheese, and bread, you can imagine his taste buds prefer blander foods.

"I'm fine," he rasped out.

“Oh, man. I’m sorry. I did say that, right? But you should’ve seen your expression.” Okay, so he’s kind of an ass. Just a little. “I probably owe you my name after making you go through that. Kaoru Hitachiin. It’s nice to meet you.” After a moment, he adds on quickly, “uh- at least, on my end."

Ryouta snorts and points his fork at Kaoru. "You're lucky you're cute," he teased. "Otherwise I might not." He grinned at him. "Nah, I was being dumb, should have known better."

He carves off a piece of his waffle and stabs it and makes sure it's soaked in syrup. "I'm Ryouta Kise, nice to meet you!"

Aw, you're too kind. Kaoru will just pretend to blush before laughing and picking up his plate. "Kise. You're really in Virgo? It's terrible that we haven't met before. Which band are you with?"

"Surviving Friday," Ryouta answered with a smile, flirting is easy and fun. "I've been with Virgo for awhile now."

He took a bite of his food, chewed and swallowed. "Which band are you with?"

"Hue & Cry. The best band, obviously." But there's no heat behind, no real indication that he really believes they're the best or anything. It's a throwaway line, and he chuckles a little after he says it, shaking his head. "It hasn't been very long, but everyone I've met has been cool enough."

"So you're one of their new recruits then?" He had been taken aback about how many people had been let go last month, but he hadn't really known them that well.

"Well, I hope you like it! We're a good bunch, I think."

"Yep! I've made it so far, so that's a good sign, I guess?" Kaoru grins and looks Kise over, just obvious enough in the action to be obnoxious about it. "You're definitely a good-looking bunch, from what I've seen."

Yeah, he's going with a line as cheesy as that. He's a secret dork, okay.

"We are, aren't we?" Ryouta commented and looked around. Yeah, Virgo hired some good looking people. Most were just out of his age range. Well, technically so was Xanxus, but everyone has exceptions. "So, who do you think's best looking here?"

"I mean, other then ourselves," he added with a wink.

"Oh, you're too nice. But I couldn't possibly rank anyone," he demurs, glancing around the room. "That'd be rude. Let's just say we've all got a lot to offer."

Ryouta lets out a little laugh. "I suppose you're right," he said. He's more than willing to rank the other men in his label, but if Kaoru doesn't want to he won't press. "Yeah we are a good looking bunch. Though the guys from Pride are more my type."
