006 ✽ Get Down
Who: As many people in Virgo HQ as Luce can grab
What: The best way to get to know new people is over breakfast, didn't you know?
When: A nice cheery morning a vague time in January after everyone's newbies have met their band
Where: The Flower Over Bones penthouse
Warnings: None planned! Feel free to treat this as a mingle log
The first month Luce arrived at Virgo HQ, she didn't waste any time before establishing some sort of lunch everyone could get together at. As January drags on, it's something she finds herself thinking about as new faces fill up the gaps where she had known others.
It's part of the reasons why, one early morning, she can be found bustling to all the other band penthouses to deliver a simple invitation she makes sure everyone gets to hear: a breakfast taking place in the FoB house for all Virgo musicians.
FoB penthouse looks like a lot of the other bands, with some clutter here and there that fits its inhabitants including a small dartboard with various articles about the members pinned there with shuriken. The television is playing what seems to be an early day sci-fi movie marathon and there's already a pretty impressive spread of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and various cut up fruit for people to dig into.

"I won't get sick. Frustrated, of course, but not sick."

Bad moods in general aren't great, but it makes it hard to work together and makes the living situation tough. "You shouldn't push yourself so hard."

He wanted his Cores. He needed his Cores. The lack of them made his skin itch and he knew that if he had a few more, things would be much better. He would understand the urges better if he just had a few more pieces. He felt it in his gut.
It was wrong of course, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to figure it out.
"Neither should you."

A man, tall and broad is looking down on her. She has a doll in her hands. And she's asked him something--something sincere and genuine, and she's never been afraid of the answer to a question before. She feels so small around him--he's big and bald and his eyes are spirals. And his voice is so cold. "You don't need to know."
She shivers. And the feeling is so similar. But she smiles at Ankh as brightly as she can. She didn't know she could smile when she felt like this. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry."

He reached over and gave her hair a tug. Something he said must have made her upset, and while he wasn't the most caring of people, he really didn't want to hurt his band members. After all, they needed each other, otherwise they were going to end up getting split up like the others and he wasn't sure if he could fit in a different band.
"You're worried. It's okay to pry when you're worried."

"We have to look out for each other. I suppose you're right."

There were other things that he could say, but that's the first thing that came to mind. The band was important. He wasn't sure why but it was.

There's a kind of surprise in his voice. He never thought that Nia would see him that way; he was rude and a little scary and while Kise treated him like a friend, he didn't expect any of the newer band members to feel that way.
"I guess... I guess we are."

"I thought those were all important things to friendship..."
Guess who has never had any friends before?

He really didn't remember ever having friends. He just remember having people that he hung out with that might be friends but never really trusted them. Ankh shook his head trying to push away the nagging feeling that he was being ridiculous again.
"Eh, who cares. We're friends."

But when he says they're friends, a smile breaks over her face. "See?"
no subject
"Yeah. I see."
He wasn't sure though, something definitely felt off but he couldn't place it. Maybe it was those stupid dreams crowding in his head and making him feel confused. It didn't help with the headache from all these people's wants pressing in on him.

She's a lonely kid???

He doesn't remember them much though. He had to have friends, or at least people that he hung out with and got into trouble with. He couldn't have been a gang of one, right? But why was his only memories of friends was someone he could recall in a loudly colored shirt?

Her only memories are of tutors and private coaches.
