006 ✽ Get Down

Who: As many people in Virgo HQ as Luce can grab
What: The best way to get to know new people is over breakfast, didn't you know?
When: A nice cheery morning a vague time in January after everyone's newbies have met their band
Where: The Flower Over Bones penthouse
Warnings: None planned! Feel free to treat this as a mingle log

The first month Luce arrived at Virgo HQ, she didn't waste any time before establishing some sort of lunch everyone could get together at. As January drags on, it's something she finds herself thinking about as new faces fill up the gaps where she had known others.

It's part of the reasons why, one early morning, she can be found bustling to all the other band penthouses to deliver a simple invitation she makes sure everyone gets to hear: a breakfast taking place in the FoB house for all Virgo musicians.

FoB penthouse looks like a lot of the other bands, with some clutter here and there that fits its inhabitants including a small dartboard with various articles about the members pinned there with shuriken. The television is playing what seems to be an early day sci-fi movie marathon and there's already a pretty impressive spread of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and various cut up fruit for people to dig into.

"Tch, like it's that easy."

They came from him. He wasn't sure how, but Silver and he had played together and then the Taka Core just peeled itself from his arm. That it was trying to crawl back into his arm was the weird thing though. Wasn't it suppose to stay out? And why did his skin turn gray when it attempted to merge back?

"They aren't separate from me."

"That... okay, so how they come out of you?"

He's absolutely serious about wanting to help.

"I don't know."

He wished it was easy enough to explain. That at one level the Cores were a part of himself and could easily come and go just on a whim, but he couldn't explain why. It wasn't like how you can pick at a scab or anything. They really did merge with him and could come out whenever he wanted them too.

But why was that?

For some reason, he kept on picturing some guy in hippie clothing demanding that he picked a better Combo.

"Hmmm... maybe when we get back to the suite we should try. I could hold you by your ankles and shake you." He's tall enough and strong enough to do it, but he's mostly teasing. Trying to lighten the mood.

"Don't even think about it."

And Ankh's head went up, his eyes narrowing and his right hand reaching over to grab Kise and give him a shake. That motion was only stopped by him grabbing his own wrist and pressing the Core, letting the numbness spread and contain the sharp rise of anger.

How dare... Humans! He's probably trying to tease and he just wasn't in the mood for it. He wasn't in the mood for any of it, or at least whatever was making him prickly was making it harder to find humor in things.

"I'm not that short!"
yellowcopycat: (no offense)

"It's not that you're short, it's that I have half a foot on you."

More like four, maybe five inches on him.

He's totally joking, but when Ankh looks ready to grab him. He frowns and puts a hand on Ankh's shoulder. "Dude, I was joking, sorry."
connivingbird: (hiss)

"Tch."

He just tosses his head a little, chewing on the ice pop's stick as if working out a little extra aggression. He knew Kise was joking, but a part of him was just completely bristling at the idea behind the joke. It was the same part where the memories came from, and that drew away from the casual touch to his shoulder. He stopped himself from snapping at that, but he did hunch a little at the touch.

"I know, but I think I'm going to get really touchy about things. It's not you, it's whatever else is happening."
