006 ✽ Get Down
Who: As many people in Virgo HQ as Luce can grab
What: The best way to get to know new people is over breakfast, didn't you know?
When: A nice cheery morning a vague time in January after everyone's newbies have met their band
Where: The Flower Over Bones penthouse
Warnings: None planned! Feel free to treat this as a mingle log
The first month Luce arrived at Virgo HQ, she didn't waste any time before establishing some sort of lunch everyone could get together at. As January drags on, it's something she finds herself thinking about as new faces fill up the gaps where she had known others.
It's part of the reasons why, one early morning, she can be found bustling to all the other band penthouses to deliver a simple invitation she makes sure everyone gets to hear: a breakfast taking place in the FoB house for all Virgo musicians.
FoB penthouse looks like a lot of the other bands, with some clutter here and there that fits its inhabitants including a small dartboard with various articles about the members pinned there with shuriken. The television is playing what seems to be an early day sci-fi movie marathon and there's already a pretty impressive spread of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and various cut up fruit for people to dig into.

Weirdness may not always be bad, but I could sure use a lot less of it in my life.
[Now that he remembers they're there, he has a bite of pancake. They're pretty good. But he's still frowning at them.]
Have you ever wanted to know something, but you weren't sure if knowing it would actually make things worse?

[Bill blinks, fairly surprised by his own answer, before breaking into an even wider grin. Well, that was certainly something he has never been asked before.]
"Kid, I want to know everything; in fact- Heh, some days I feel I already do!"
[But not today, seeing as you just asked him something new. Bill rests his head in his arm; interest entirely renewed in the breakfast brooder.]
"But goooo on, color me intrigued."

It's like, I have a lot of little pieces of a really important puzzle. And... and I might know how to get more. Pieces, that is. But once I've seen enough of the picture, there won't be any going back. What if it's something I don't want to see?
[He pauses, then shakes his head.]
Sorry, I guess that doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

[Bill smirks, he thinks he sees where this guy is going with this.]
"Look, kid, whether you wanna know something or not isn't going to stop it from being there in the first place. So you complete an ugly picture-- if you don't like what you see, paint over it with something else!"
[He shrugs and dunks a piece of bacon into... his coffee.]
"What's worse, seeing one bad picture, or coming up with every INFINITE POSSIBILITY it MIGHT BE instead?"
[Right? Bill takes a large chomp out of the beverage-soaked crispy meat.]

[And afraid that the picture will be impossible to paint over. Tsuna wrinkles his nose at the bacon coffee. That can't taste good.
But that last thing Bill said? That actually strikes a chord. Tsuna's imagination could probably come up with a thousand horrible possibilities. At least reality would only be one horrible possibility.]
You... have a point. I never really thought about it that way.
Sorry mate, went on unexpected hiatus. Feel free to drop!
[Bill laughs while also looking disgusted and keeps eating the bacon anyway. What should he do next? Syrup in the coffee? Syrup in coffee! He hums idly as he makes a chaotic mess of his breakfast.]
"Your problem is assuming your puzzle parade ends the second you finish it. What you've got to ask yourself is what happens AFTER? JUST THINK Maybe the puzzle you REALLY want to get to can't be completed until you put together all the smaller puzzles first! Sure would be a shame if you didn't even try. I'm talking about seeing the 'big picture' here, kid, literally!"
