006 ✽ Get Down

Who: As many people in Virgo HQ as Luce can grab
What: The best way to get to know new people is over breakfast, didn't you know?
When: A nice cheery morning a vague time in January after everyone's newbies have met their band
Where: The Flower Over Bones penthouse
Warnings: None planned! Feel free to treat this as a mingle log

The first month Luce arrived at Virgo HQ, she didn't waste any time before establishing some sort of lunch everyone could get together at. As January drags on, it's something she finds herself thinking about as new faces fill up the gaps where she had known others.

It's part of the reasons why, one early morning, she can be found bustling to all the other band penthouses to deliver a simple invitation she makes sure everyone gets to hear: a breakfast taking place in the FoB house for all Virgo musicians.

FoB penthouse looks like a lot of the other bands, with some clutter here and there that fits its inhabitants including a small dartboard with various articles about the members pinned there with shuriken. The television is playing what seems to be an early day sci-fi movie marathon and there's already a pretty impressive spread of pancakes, waffles, french toast, and various cut up fruit for people to dig into.

Really? That's so nice.. not that he needs it, because of course Roxas knows everything about everything he'll be embarking on in this life of his, but it would be convenient to have that extra say-so. Someone to talk to who knows how things work.

"Sure.. thanks. And thanks for the hot food." Oh, joyous a day it is that he is given cooked meat like this by someone. Taking the plate and holding it close, the ham gets seasoned with some syrup of all things before he begins to cut it up. It would probably be rude to shove the whole thing in his mouth in front of her, especially after all the work she went through just to make it.

"Most people around here seem nice enough. I thought this kind of business was very, uh, cutthroat, you know?"

That kind of honesty is rare, Roxas is guessing. He knows it's honest because there isn't anything about the statement that doesn't make sense. It would be easy to blindly walk into starting from this gig he's got going upwards, but there probably wouldn't be much of going up if he put his trust in anybody who offered a friendly gesture.

But.. how is she any different? Should he be wary of her? ...should he be wary of someone who went through all that effort to not only put this breakfast together, but provide additional protein, cooked at that, just for him? ..maybe. He's got a good feeling about her. "Well.. I'm glad I know where I can go if I need anything."

While she isn't looking, in a less reserved fashion Roxas makes fairly quick work of the ham on his plate. Just because he ate it quickly doesn't mean he didn't enjoy it though.

Forgive his hastiness, Luce. This one had the hunger. Abashedly, "You did! It was just so good I had to eat it real quick.. I enjoyed it though, I promise." And he's definitely content now; any more food would be overkill, and that would easily turn this day into a non-productive lay and digest fest in his room. "I think I might actually be full.."

He's saying it more so as a question because this fact is questionable. This thing hasn't happened before.

As long as this event doesn't find itself populated with too many carrying the same brand of hunger he does, that shouldn't be a problem they run into. "Yeah.. you're probably right." The sheer idea of a place like this running out of food, army of teenage hunger or not, is obscure enough anyway!

With a smile, because somehow she feels like a something he never really had in his life and knowing that for a moment is kind of nice, "I guess I should go mingle or something with the others.. get to know people around here." Connections are paramount to success here after all, right? "I'll probably be seeing you around?" If his stomach doesn't suddenly declare there's room for more, anyway.
