Exploring the concrete jungle
Who:Eiji (Fukushi Chino to the non-rescuers) and anyone else who is out and about
What: Wandering the city to familiarize himself with it
When: Late-afternoon bordering early evening
Where: Vista City streets
Warnings: N/a
[Vista City was, as Eiji had come to learn, not too different from the sprawling cities back home. There were still its notable differences in design among other things but Eiji took it all in stride. He had to since he and everyone else who came in on the ship were probably going to be on the planet for a while. He’d managed to find a job working at a small quaint café so money wouldn’t be much of an issue. Right now, he was walking about the city and taking in the sights and sometimes listening to whatever chatter was within earshot. Seeing the sights was great in of itself but there was a purpose to it all.]
Hm… Should I head back or keep going?
[Eiji muses to himself, eyes briefly going skyward. There was still some daylight but it was starting to wane. He stops for a few moments, makes a decision, and promptly turns around to retrace his path. He almost bumps into one of the people trying to pass him by doing the action though.]
Ah! I'm sorry, excuse me.

[Then a polite bow of his head.]
Where are my manners? I've been chattering away and offering advice, and I haven't introduced myself. I'm Kiernan Macleod, though you might have heard of me by my stage name, which is Sariel.

[At the bow he's given he gives one back. He listens to the man's introduction attentively and when he says his stage name he thinks back to what he had heard in passing while out on his walk. He did hear people talking about the music groups, in fact it was the information he'd pay the most attention to.]
Mm, I think I might have.

In that case, don't believe some of the more exaggerated claims from the press. The promotional team does love to play up some things.
And who, may I ask, do I have the pleasure of meeting? [A gentle coax, said with his head tilted in a way meant to look disarming.]

[He's no stranger to things like news being embellished.]
Oh, ah, Fukushi. My name is Fukushi Chino.
[Eiji says his alias with ease.]

[Technically speaking he's not lying.]

[Curious, even interested: he's a newcomer here himself.]
