☆A little little fun
Who: Those who signed up to perform, and anyone else
What: The Double S Charity Concert is go!
When: January 24th throughout the day
Where: Archer Park
Warnings: None planned
☆A Little Little Fun

On the morning of the 24th, the sun rises over Vista City and, more importantly, Archer Park- a series of rooftop parks connected to each other by bridges and overflowing greenery of all sorts. It's a popular on most days to start with. Today, however, is the day of the Double S Charity Concert. Thus, it's more packed than usual.
One of the park "islands" is home to a concert stage, and that is where the concert is taking place. All throughout the next couple of days, various musicians will perform songs they've written about or dedicated to another in the industry. With the entertainment value of the idea and the fame of the musicians, of course the place is packed.
The stage is where every musician will end up at throughout the day, performing for the masses, but behind it is also a rest area for them to either bide their time or just hang out. It's supposed to be restricted to just those musicians participating, but frankly... security is lax just enough that bandmates and the such could duck on in to see their friends. No fans, however, sorry. It's not the most impressive of places, with seating areas and a salad bar and all the pizza that could possibly be ordered, but hopefully it's good enough. This is also where one can find event organizer Jenny around, in case they need to bring anything up.
Of course, no one is required to stay back there while waiting their turn, or after they've done their performance. Attempts to raise money go beyond just the concert. Double S has all sorts of stalls set up, whether to explain to people the various causes they can specifically pledge support to, or to sell merchandise. Can't forget the food stalls. There is, of course, a stall showing adoptable animals. There always is.
Finally, there's one last thing Double S has set up for any willing celebrities. It's a meet-and-greet area for the fans, where they have the chance to meet their favorite musicians. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans... There's even a karaoke set up for everyone to use. Musicians can sing solo, or with others from their label, or even with a lucky fan.AKA feel free to get NPC MP here. Hopefully, it'll get some good publicity for those interested in that kind of thing.
Tickets have been made astonishingly cheap in the hopes that more people will show, with anything else being made up by merchandise sales or donations.

In the crowd and Meet-and-Greet
Riku didn't really know what he was expecting. Not this. Not Sora being so himself. He had it in his mind that Sora would be different, except... he really wasn't. Just had his memory erased. Again.]
[Later, Riku is walking around, checking out the food vendors because he's already tired of subs when he sees Sora chatting with fans. The dummy, doesn't he know he's not supposed to get too close. Oh well. He turns go but his way is blocked, and the only way to go is past Sora. Hopefully he won't recognize him. He should have brought the hat Agent 3 gave him.
Purposefully he begins to walk. If you act like you belong you look like you belong]

His gaze falls over someone eerily familiar while he's doing this, and he pretty much freezes for a second. His fans don't seem to notice, despite the fact his smile drops and his eyes widen.
It can't be him. He doesn't really exist, right? He's just someone from the weird dreams he has, right? Except... his presence, there's something about him he can't even put his finger on, it's too familiar. Something is triggered, and one of those visions, or hallucinations he's been having on occasion comes rushing over him, bringing with it the feeling of such relief, joy. There's nothing to see this time, he just hears. And feels. His own voice.
"Riku. Riku's here... I looked for you."
A tear slips down his cheek before he can stop it, his kind fans around him notice this, voice their concern, ask him what's wrong. He doesn't even hear them. Instead, he hears Riku's voice in his head.
"Come on, Sora. You've got to pull it together."
"I looked everywhere for you!" His own voice again, still in his head, but the feeling is so overwhelming he has to keep his lips tight and turn away from looking anymore, from watching the familiar figure.]
I... [He speaks again, his own voice, in the present, outside his head, and he directs it to a girl holding gently to his arm, looking up at him with concern. He chokes on a laugh, tries to fight back the tears.] Sorry... Must be all the grass!
[Yes. That's definitely it. All the grass. Totally believable. And yet, all the fans around him seem to buy it, a few girls coo "poor thing" at him.]
no subject
Sora saw him. Sora remembers. He comes to a halt. He can't bring himself to take another step. He needs to go. He can't make contact yet. He knows if he makes contact he'll ruin everything.
'keep walking' he tells himself. 'c'mon Riku, keep walking. It isn't fair.'
But he can't. Instead he busies himself looking at the kiosk for another band, Cosmic Indulgence? Crown of Thorns? He's not even paying attention. All his attention is on Sora, who's turned away from him now. Good.
He watches out of the corner of his for a few moments before buying a few a Cosmic Indulgence shirt. He turns to go, for real this time, looks over his shoulder once last time.]

It's possibly the hardest thing he can ever remember having to do, to keep his focus on his fans, to keep himself pretending like nothing just happened. But he has to. He has to because, now that the utter relief has finally subsided, a very real sense of danger creeps upon him. Not from Riku, but for Riku. In order to protect him, he can't let anyone know he recognized him.
A voice of reason would probably tell him that it's quite likely the guy doesn't even know who he is. That Sora's just having random weird hallucinations and dreams like usual, the same thing everyone else in this music biz seems to have caught. But optimism wins out over realism. Always.
This means something, and it was meant to happen. And for that reason, Sora also knows he'll run into him again. This isn't the last time he'll see him. And that thought calms him down considerably so that, after only a few moments since this whole incident started, he's talking normally to his fans, smiling and chatting away again.]

He lingers for a few more seconds, and then leaves to find one of his housemates. He needs to leave.]
In the crowd
After a few moments, she turns to look at Riku. ]
It's good to see him. He seems like he's missing something...
[Kind of most of everything. Its a bit of a gaping void really. Like what she's done to him. But even in that, he's managed to find things to connect himself to. His heart radiates with so many of the people here. Sora is Sora, and he's a light in the dark to so many people. ]
But people here do care for him.
no subject
[He smiles softly at that.] That guy. He can get almost anyone to like him.
[He looks over at Namine, lowering his voice]
Does it have to do with Roxas or just the memory wipe in general?
[He still can't believe Roxas is here as well. He hasn't seen him, but he trusted Namine when she said he was here as well.]
no subject
[She's certain. She knows what that feels like, and this isn't it.]
It's his memories. His home, his family, friends. Everything has been rewritten and overwritten. It leaves you feeling empty. And wrong.
[She sounds sad when she's talking about it. It's a hard thing to explain.]
It's a little like what happened to Roxas before. But not as careful.
[...That might be Namine's way of saying she's better at this, or that she thinks she is, but it's hard to tell. ]
no subject
Is that way with everyone?
[Namine's powers were probably going to be extremely useful here. At least for Sora.
He makes a thoughtful sound when Namine says it's not as careful. He agrees with her unspoken assessment that she is better.]
They have no idea how much damage they're causing or don't care. [He doesn't know which is worse, but he's likely to bet it's the latter.]
no subject
[She says simply. And then turns to look up at Riku.]
It looks like that with everyone.
[She puts her hands over her chest, where her heart would be.]
I don't think they care that they've made them like this.
But- [Her face twists up like she's thinking. In this moment she probably looks a lot more like Kairi, her the intensity in her expression much like her Somebody's.]
I don't know. And I don't think I want to ask them, if I got the chance.
no subject
[Having had Xehanort's heartless in his head for awhile made that clear. As had dealing with the younger one.]
Tell you the truth I wouldn't want to talk to them either beyond introducing them to my Keyblade.
[He hated what they did to Sora, Roxas, and everyone else.]
Hey, do you think, after this, you and Roxas might be able to stay yourselves?
[Because he wanted that. He still felt guilty over what he and DiZ did to Roxas. Even if he would do it again to save Sora.]
