☆A little little fun
Who: Those who signed up to perform, and anyone else
What: The Double S Charity Concert is go!
When: January 24th throughout the day
Where: Archer Park
Warnings: None planned
☆A Little Little Fun

On the morning of the 24th, the sun rises over Vista City and, more importantly, Archer Park- a series of rooftop parks connected to each other by bridges and overflowing greenery of all sorts. It's a popular on most days to start with. Today, however, is the day of the Double S Charity Concert. Thus, it's more packed than usual.
One of the park "islands" is home to a concert stage, and that is where the concert is taking place. All throughout the next couple of days, various musicians will perform songs they've written about or dedicated to another in the industry. With the entertainment value of the idea and the fame of the musicians, of course the place is packed.
The stage is where every musician will end up at throughout the day, performing for the masses, but behind it is also a rest area for them to either bide their time or just hang out. It's supposed to be restricted to just those musicians participating, but frankly... security is lax just enough that bandmates and the such could duck on in to see their friends. No fans, however, sorry. It's not the most impressive of places, with seating areas and a salad bar and all the pizza that could possibly be ordered, but hopefully it's good enough. This is also where one can find event organizer Jenny around, in case they need to bring anything up.
Of course, no one is required to stay back there while waiting their turn, or after they've done their performance. Attempts to raise money go beyond just the concert. Double S has all sorts of stalls set up, whether to explain to people the various causes they can specifically pledge support to, or to sell merchandise. Can't forget the food stalls. There is, of course, a stall showing adoptable animals. There always is.
Finally, there's one last thing Double S has set up for any willing celebrities. It's a meet-and-greet area for the fans, where they have the chance to meet their favorite musicians. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans... There's even a karaoke set up for everyone to use. Musicians can sing solo, or with others from their label, or even with a lucky fan.AKA feel free to get NPC MP here. Hopefully, it'll get some good publicity for those interested in that kind of thing.
Tickets have been made astonishingly cheap in the hopes that more people will show, with anything else being made up by merchandise sales or donations.

He doesn't move or tell her to get away from him. But he purposefully hasn't given consent, either, his gaze lingering on the ground in front of them. He can't lie, it does hurt a lot. He doesn't really know what there is to do about it, though.]
The thing with that? It's all gotten sort of complicated. Not sure if it's really your thing...
[He doesn't want to have to make the decision to show her or not. That would mean that everything that follows because of it is his responsibility - his fault. He doesn't like that. He'd rather just stick it out himself.]
no subject
It worries her even more that he's hesitating to pick a direction, to let her help or to send her away.}
Sans--I don't care how complicated it is. You're my bandmate, sure, but more importantly, you're my friend. I don't have many of those, so I can do whatever you need me to do for you, okay?
{She takes a deep breath and gingerly touches her fingers to the bloody edge of his hoodie sleeve.}
Give me the chance to decide if it's my thing or not.
no subject
Don't say I didn't warn you.
[He rests a blunt between his lips while he fishes out a lighter one handed. The sleeve is hers to pull.]

She's expecting warm soft flesh, maybe a little sweaty or with teeth marks, but instead she's met with something much slimmer than the bulk of his sweatshirt would suggest. His arm is nothing but bone. She can see the cracks where it's been broken.}
M-Medical tape. And maybe a couple of m-my mallets from my b-bag.For a sp-splint.
{She stutters trying to come to terms, trying to think of him and how to help him, but her mind spins.Her fingers tremble more the longer she stares at that thin expanse of white, almost vibrating where his wrist comes together to meet more bones disappearing into his gloves.
Who did this to him? How could they strip him of his flesh and muscle?! She's furious. There's a choking feeling in her chest. All she can think of is coffins in the forest and finishing a cigarette while a silver haired man sobs on her shoulder. A girl with one eye and a sly smile.
There's no disgust in her voice, only a quiet simmering rage.}
Who did this to you? Ho-How dare they hurt you!
{She feels helpless. Utterly helpless looking at her friend's broken bones exposed to the world when they should be kept safely inside many more layers of him. She wishes she's plunged that cheese knife back into Art. She wishes she wasn't such a ridiculous girl with nothing to fight back against the people hunting them down. Who is hunting them down?
It doesn't matter. They can't have him. She won't let them.}

But now she's practically crying with rage because of his stupid arms, and he just doesn't know what to do with it. Even he doesn't feel that alarmed about it. It's just something he has to deal with now, he thinks. Just another thing trying to get in his way, to stop him from making it to the end.
She's freaking out for the wrong reasons, though, and he has to set that straight.]
Slow down, kid. Nobody...well, nobody hurt me to make them like this. It...just kind of crumbled under the pressure, is all.
[He clasps his other hand around his wrist, trying to hold his arm still.]
Nobody can know about this, Haru. Trust me.
no subject
Her face crumples in relief at his words, and she does tear up, reaching for her face to wipe her tears, only to stop nearly there realizing her hands are still bloody.
She shakes herself then, pulling it together.}
That's good, I'm glad no one--We'll have to figure out what happened. If you want to talk about it.
{It was obvious he could still feel even without nerves of any kind because he was obviously in pain over the break when they were trying to leave the performers' area.
She breathes in and out.}
I won't tell anyone. You can trust me.
{She bites her lip.}
I'm afraid of the way Bolin disappeared. I feel like--{She shakes her head again.} It doesn't matter.
How are you feeling? Can you stay upright and conscious long enough for me to get supplies to bind your arm?
no subject
He sympathizes about Bolin. His personal reaction to it at the time had been weird, but he can appreciate what it represents to everyone. They're all on the chopping block, and they know it. After a long moment, he nods soberly.]
Yeah. Knock yourself out. [He goes back to his blunt, and takes a puff.] Never had to treat these things before.
no subject
She's not gone long, barely a few moments before she's back at his side, carefully laying everything out next to him. She licks her lip, bites it and hesitantly approaches something she's only discussed in vague what-ifs and half conversations.}
Do you have strange dreams? Or hallucinations? Of other people--of places you can't quite name?
{She wonders if Sans is the right person to talk to about it considering his drug use, but that might make him the best to ask. He might know the difference between drug induced things and whatever the hell it was she was having when she was sober.}
