☆A little little fun
Who: Those who signed up to perform, and anyone else
What: The Double S Charity Concert is go!
When: January 24th throughout the day
Where: Archer Park
Warnings: None planned
☆A Little Little Fun

On the morning of the 24th, the sun rises over Vista City and, more importantly, Archer Park- a series of rooftop parks connected to each other by bridges and overflowing greenery of all sorts. It's a popular on most days to start with. Today, however, is the day of the Double S Charity Concert. Thus, it's more packed than usual.
One of the park "islands" is home to a concert stage, and that is where the concert is taking place. All throughout the next couple of days, various musicians will perform songs they've written about or dedicated to another in the industry. With the entertainment value of the idea and the fame of the musicians, of course the place is packed.
The stage is where every musician will end up at throughout the day, performing for the masses, but behind it is also a rest area for them to either bide their time or just hang out. It's supposed to be restricted to just those musicians participating, but frankly... security is lax just enough that bandmates and the such could duck on in to see their friends. No fans, however, sorry. It's not the most impressive of places, with seating areas and a salad bar and all the pizza that could possibly be ordered, but hopefully it's good enough. This is also where one can find event organizer Jenny around, in case they need to bring anything up.
Of course, no one is required to stay back there while waiting their turn, or after they've done their performance. Attempts to raise money go beyond just the concert. Double S has all sorts of stalls set up, whether to explain to people the various causes they can specifically pledge support to, or to sell merchandise. Can't forget the food stalls. There is, of course, a stall showing adoptable animals. There always is.
Finally, there's one last thing Double S has set up for any willing celebrities. It's a meet-and-greet area for the fans, where they have the chance to meet their favorite musicians. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans... There's even a karaoke set up for everyone to use. Musicians can sing solo, or with others from their label, or even with a lucky fan.AKA feel free to get NPC MP here. Hopefully, it'll get some good publicity for those interested in that kind of thing.
Tickets have been made astonishingly cheap in the hopes that more people will show, with anything else being made up by merchandise sales or donations.

[Their voice is very quiet, but they're obviously fighting a smile.
Look, sometimes you just have to make jokes in really not-funny circumstances.]
no subject
He really doesn't know what to do. This is really happening, isn't it? He is way too high for this. He doesn't often get paranoid because of this stuff, but maybe getting randomly assaulted earlier set him on a bad path. He keeps expecting that this is going to go somewhere even weirder.
He absently tucks the ice cream into his hoodie pocket.]
Are you...
[If anything can freak him out, it's how much his own composure is broken at this. Now it's his turn to glance of his shoulder, wary of the many potential observers. He's already in enough danger in the moment as is.]
Do I know you?
no subject
They can't say yes. They have to swallow and their breathing gets all funny for a moment, but they know they shouldn't say yes here and now. He'd have so many questions, or he might just be scared, and either one could get them both caught. If it were only them, Frisk might not mind. It has such a slim chance of turning out well, but this would be worth a reset. Just to try and make him remember. If it was a mistake, they'd probably just get killed somehow and then they could try it all again.
But they aren't the only person who's on a mission now. What if they said or did something different with another rescuer, and that somehow screwed things up for them? There's so many moving parts to this that they just can't control.
......and Sans is already scared, isn't he?]
You should see a doctor. [They've never been able to hide things from Sans, and they can't quite bring themself to lie now. Nor can they meet his gaze.] Getting hit in the head's pretty bad.

The severity of the situation has been becoming more and more apparent lately. Can he really just let an opportunity to figure out what the fuck is happening go by? If there's one thing he'll chase after, it's evidence to a theory.
He doesn't even remark on that attempt to distract him with his health. His gaze has settled on Frisk with a new level of (relative) razor focus.]
...You gotta give me something here, kid.
[There's something pleading about the way he says it - like someone who is well and truly lost and on the verge of losing their shot at getting an answer.]
no subject
But Sans's tone makes them reach out a hand for him.]
Yeah. You do.
I can't talk long. I don't wanna get you in trouble. [Their tone is apologetic, like a child trying to justify a misdeed. They don't know if he'll understand.] But I'm gonna be around. Promise.
no subject
To see one out and roaming around, making cagey promises...it opens a whole new realm of questions. At least he can still understand the need for caution - no matter what the kid's deal is, it's been made clear that him and his peers are subject to certain rules if they want to live.
There's so much that could be asked and so much that could be said, all within this brief encounter. He doesn't know where to start. He ends up fixating on that extended hand, and it brings back something important. The first thing he ever 'remembered' of this alternate self. Something that still comes to mind every time he thinks about how he ended up here.
He lifts his gloved hand to almost meet their fingers. He chuckles weakly.]
Ha ha...deja vu, huh? Me and you...we're making this a habit.
[Somehow, then, they'd convinced him to remember.]
no subject
Yeah. It happens.
[They reach out to close the gap, if they can, shifting their hand so it becomes a handshake instead of locking their fingers together. They hadn't anticipated getting this close, or they'd have brought a whoopee cushion. Maybe that would have been too loud anyway. Too much.]
I'm Frisk.
no subject
This kid doesn't really seem their age - not entirely. Like there's some kind of wisdom there that doesn't come from a child growing up normal.]
I'm Sans- [-the skeleton-] -Esqueleto.
[He pauses, just a little bit caught off guard by the words that almost came out of his mouth. For a brief moment, the amount of deja vu becomes overwhelming. Like, maybe, deja vu about having deja vu. Deja vu squared.
Also, he almost straight up introduced himself as a skeleton. That's pretty weird too.]
no subject
They knew that was his fake name, of course. The concert announcer said it. Hearing it out of his mouth is just weirder. If they noticed that his hands are perhaps thinner than a normal person's might be, they don't show any sign of it.]
I'm a human.
[They add, almost under their breath, as if they hadn't really meant to say it. Once it's out, they just drop their gaze and tuck their hands back in their pockets, a deliberate break from routine. This is not Snowdin.
He can't have their phone number. As much as they'd like to give it to him, the only one that works now is the communicator from Shep, and those are secret. Frisk's not even sure they can connect to normal phones. But their instinct is to give him something. What if he wants to see them again? They can't normally reach him at all in that big building. If he needs help, they'll never even know.]
I work at Pizza Planet. [PERFECT]
no subject
And then the kid introduces themselves as 'a human', which...okay then.]
Huh. Good to know.
[Like, maybe that's fair, since his current hypothesis is that he might not really be human? But just out and out saying it like that is still pretty weird.
At any rate, he's kind of at a loss, here. He's being given an easy link to them in the future, but there are a lot of questions he wants to ask now. He pointedly holds off.]
I'll keep that in mind.
no subject
...it's harder than they thought.
They stand there silently for a few moments, rocking back and forth on their heels as if expecting to leap into action at any second. It's not saying goodbye that's hard, exactly. It's just that they're not sure when they'll be able to see him again, or how it's going to be then. Maybe he'll remember more wrong things before that. In the end, there's not much they can do but wait and see.
You need a lot more patience when you can't reset.]
Stay safe.
