☆A little little fun
Who: Those who signed up to perform, and anyone else
What: The Double S Charity Concert is go!
When: January 24th throughout the day
Where: Archer Park
Warnings: None planned
☆A Little Little Fun

On the morning of the 24th, the sun rises over Vista City and, more importantly, Archer Park- a series of rooftop parks connected to each other by bridges and overflowing greenery of all sorts. It's a popular on most days to start with. Today, however, is the day of the Double S Charity Concert. Thus, it's more packed than usual.
One of the park "islands" is home to a concert stage, and that is where the concert is taking place. All throughout the next couple of days, various musicians will perform songs they've written about or dedicated to another in the industry. With the entertainment value of the idea and the fame of the musicians, of course the place is packed.
The stage is where every musician will end up at throughout the day, performing for the masses, but behind it is also a rest area for them to either bide their time or just hang out. It's supposed to be restricted to just those musicians participating, but frankly... security is lax just enough that bandmates and the such could duck on in to see their friends. No fans, however, sorry. It's not the most impressive of places, with seating areas and a salad bar and all the pizza that could possibly be ordered, but hopefully it's good enough. This is also where one can find event organizer Jenny around, in case they need to bring anything up.
Of course, no one is required to stay back there while waiting their turn, or after they've done their performance. Attempts to raise money go beyond just the concert. Double S has all sorts of stalls set up, whether to explain to people the various causes they can specifically pledge support to, or to sell merchandise. Can't forget the food stalls. There is, of course, a stall showing adoptable animals. There always is.
Finally, there's one last thing Double S has set up for any willing celebrities. It's a meet-and-greet area for the fans, where they have the chance to meet their favorite musicians. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans... There's even a karaoke set up for everyone to use. Musicians can sing solo, or with others from their label, or even with a lucky fan.AKA feel free to get NPC MP here. Hopefully, it'll get some good publicity for those interested in that kind of thing.
Tickets have been made astonishingly cheap in the hopes that more people will show, with anything else being made up by merchandise sales or donations.

It's all he can think about when it comes to the people over at Virgo...how they're all in this terrible mess, and even coming together doesn't seem to do anything but cause more pain. He hopes that Ankh wasn't offended.
Being moody thankfully fits his 'persona', though, so at least being gruff and disinterested seems to fit, as long as he give his fans the smiles they want - the only thing he'll smile for. They are one of the few parts of this he likes. They don't know what's going on, and they probably never will. They just want to enjoy his music. It's one of the few pure things about it.]

[She doesn't smile, and so doesn't seem to demand one from him in return -- though her features are soft, not unfriendly. Instead she seems . . . almost worried? Anxious? There's a small, inward tilt to her eyebrows that doesn't seem to fade.]
[She hesitates. She's aware of the people around them, their eyes and their ears. She's aware of his eyes looking back at her.]
[She presses her eyelids closed briefly. Takes in a breath. She's here. She has to find the words.]
The last song . . .
It wasn't like your others.
[There's no judgement in her tone. It's a comment, no more -- and a means to see where he goes with a reply.]
no subject
She isn't the first fan to mention it to him, so it's a bit less cringe worthy now, but he still doesn't really know what to say to it.]
Yeah.
[For a moment, that seems like all he might say at all...but then, he seems to decide to continue.]
I've been having kind of a weird few months...so...I guess that's been coming out in my music, you know?
[He's purposefully affecting his behaviour right now, trying to sound cool and artistic. It works for him in most cases, except for when the person knows who he's really supposed to be.]
no subject
[He's looking, but he's not seeing.]
[She knew it would be that way. Had mentally prepared herself for that.]
[Unfortunately it was something that couldn't be prepared for. Her insides twist hard. There's a flicker of it in her face -- just a breath -- before she brushes it away. She can feel however she wants on the inside, but the outside is too visible, too vulnerable, to all the faces around them. Her arms come up in an uncomfortable cross, holding her elbows.]
Are you . . . all right?
[It's a genuine question, very soft.]
no subject
Yeah, whatever. It's just some stuff I'm going through.
[He's quiet for a moment, but then apparently can't stand the silence.]
Uh, do you want a poster?
no subject
[She's not sure what she would do with one, but:]
Okay.
no subject
Uh - what's your name? I'll write you a note, okay?
no subject
[And suddenly she's smiling back -- just faintly, tentatively, but there like a slow-blooming flower.]
Luna. You can call me Luna.
no subject
Man, that's a good one! I'm gunna draw you something...
[He takes his marker and doodles a little crescent moon with some stars around it, and then a little spaceship off to the side. He feels like he could keep going, but he cuts himself off in favour of thinking of something to say. After a moment, he grins to himself and writes it down. Then he hands it to her.]
There!
[It says: "LUNA! YOU TAKE ME OVER THE MOON! -TIGER UNIVERSE☆"]
no subject
[She takes it in.]
[The smile emerges more firmly then, blossoming into something verging very close to a laugh. It changes her face, like light chasing into shadows.]
Thank you. [It's a murmur, but it's warm, and the pleasure in it is unmistakable.]
I . . . can keep it?
no subject
Of course! It's all yours. I bet you could get the rest of the band to sign it too, if you wanted...
no subject
[Hesitation, watching his face, her smile fading slowly.]
You're sure . . . you're all right?
no subject
...It's okay. It's just...I dunno, a phase or something.
[He finds himself staring down at the table. This is why his fans haven't been the moral support they used to be. He can't actually tell them anything.]
no subject
[On impulse, she stretches out a hand towards him across the table, palm up.]
[Likely she's not meaning to recreate the dream . . . but it may be an echo all the same. She doesn't consider the fact that it's probably a little crazy, holding out a hand like that to a boy that barely knows her. She only thinks of the need to touch him in that moment -- to offer back the small comfort his touch gave her.]
[Her hand is gently cupped, the fingers stretching out, hopeful that he'll reach back.]
no subject
Yet, a moment later...he feels like he should respond to the gesture? He very carefully reaches out to touch her fingers back, some subconscious idea seeming to fuel the motion - the only part of him ensuring that he's doing the right thing.
He laughs very softly, as if trying to conceal the awkwardness of the motion.]
no subject
Take care. [Her voice is a murmur.] Please.
[She lets go.]
